Another successful track meet
for St. Margaret-RA Flyers
The St. Margaret’s/Resurrection
Flyers took away an assortment
of medals from their recent
track meet.
Bantam boys Logan DeBios, Frank
Santoro, Gavin Walsh and Luke
Minerva won the gold for their 800-
meter medley event.
Juniors Olaia and Unia Higgins came
in second place for their 400 meter run,
bringing home silver medals. Senior
girl Lin Finnegan also won a silver
medal for her long jump.
Bronze medal recipients included
novice girls Valentina and Eliana
Calabrese, Mia Cabrera and Olivia
Santoro and novice boys Justin and
Ryan Feliciano, James Gordon and
Luke Mantel for their 4x100-relays.
Senior boy Sean Walsh and junior
boy Matthew Gordon won bronze
medals for their 400-meter run Novice
girl Isabella Joseph took home a bronze
for her 100-meter dash, and Dia Healing
for her 200-meter dash.
Other medal recipients included
Bantam boys Ethan Joseph for his
100-meter dash and Anthony Pedicini
and Finn Healing for their 200-meter
dash. Peewee boys Jaiden Maxine and
Peter Gordon won medals for their
long jumps and Emily Pedicini for her
long jump.
The coaches would like to thank
the athletes as well as former Flyer
Ricky Hubert and Catholic Youth
Organization track member Dean
Butkiewicz for their volunteer service
at the track meets
