ANA ROMAN of Hollis died on
Sunday, February 17, at the age of 92.
A native of Nikolinci, Yugoslavia,
she was the devoted mother of
Romonel Roman and the late Jonel.
Services were offered at Morton
Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels,
663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood,
followed by interment at All Faiths
Cemetery, Middle Village.

LIDIA B. OLIVA died on Saturday,
February 16, at the age of 77. She
was the wife of the late Pedro
L. Oliva, loving mother of Pablo
Oliva, Marcelo Oliva and the late
Christian Oliva, and cherished
grandmother of Christian. She
was also a dear sister and aunt.
A private cremation was held on
Wednesday, February 20, at Fresh
Pond Crematory, Middle Village,
with a memorial service held on
Saturday, February 23, at Papavero
Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave.,
Maspeth.

MICHAEL BAMBAUER died on
Friday, February 15, at the age
of 53. He was the beloved son of
Charlotte Bambauer, loving brother
of Christina Godizzaro, Robert
Bambauer and Peter Bambauer,
brother-in-law of Frank and Nevada,
cherished uncle of Stephanie, Lisa,
Everett and Tessa, great-uncle of
Lena, loving fiancé of Bozena and
dear stepfather of Weronika. He is
also survived by several aunts and
uncles. Services were offered on
Tuesday, February 19, at Papavero
Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave.,
Maspeth, followed by cremation
at Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle
Village.

JAYDA M. CARRION of New York
died on Friday, February 15, at the
age of 35. A native of Brooklyn, she
was the devoted mother of Harry
Carrion, loving daughter of Luz T.
Fontanez and dear sister of Jessica
Carrion. Services were offered

Academy, Paterson, New Jersey,
followed by interment at East
Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton, New
Jersey, under the direction of
Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood

Ridgewood.

MARIA C. DIAZ of Briarwood died
on Tuesday, February 12, at the age
of 71. A native of San Ti Spiritus,
Cuba, she was the beloved wife of
Raul Diaz, devoted mother of Luis
Correa, Richard Diaz, Eduardo Diaz
and Nancy Diaz, and dear sister of
Miriam DeLuca, Gladys Sullivan
and Marjie Sullivan. She is also
survived by seven grandchildren.
Services were offered at Howard
Beach Assembly of God, Howard
Beach, followed by interment
at Maple Grove Cemetery, Kew
Gardens, under the direction of
Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood
Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave.,
Ridgewood.
