Monday, February 5, at the age of
78. He was the beloved husband
of Grace James, loving father of
Susan James, cherished grandfather
of Amanda Vopat, dear
brother of Virginia McNulty and
dearest uncle of Joanne Mellides
and Jeanne Kerrisk. He was a
U.S. Marine Corps veteran and
union delegate for Local Union
1456 NYC District Council of
Carpenters. A Mass of Christian
Burial will be offered at 10:30
a.m. on Saturday, February 10, at
St. Stanislaus Church, Maspeth,
followed by interment at St.
John Cemetery, Middle Village,
under the direction of Papavero
Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave.,
Maspeth.

on Monday, February 5, at the age
of 87. She was the wife of the late
Joseph Sultana, loving mother of
Carmen Sultana and John Sultana,
and cherished grandmother of
Veronica, Evan, Matthew, Miranda,

DIANA DIAZ-CRUZ of Brooklyn
died on Tuesday, January 30, at the
age of 49. A native of Brooklyn, she
was the beloved wife of Joe Cruz
and devoted mother of Nicolas Rodriguez
and Amberlynn Astcio. She
is also survived by one grandchild.

followed by cremation at Fresh

the age of 96. A native of Guyana,
