It was noted that all criminal charges are accusations and all persons listed in this blotter are presumed innocent until proven guilty. ������������������ “When Only The Best Will Do!” Great Quality, Fair Pricing! 104 PRECINCT BLOTTER 104TH PRECINCT RIDGEWOOD, GLENDALE, MASPETH AND MIDDLE VILLAGE MAN SOUGHT FOR ROAD RAGE STABBING IN MASPETH Police are searching for the suspect who stabbed a man during an apparent road rage incident on a street in the industrial area of Maspeth last month. According to authorities, the stabbing occurred on Jan. 17, when the suspect and the 36-year-old victim engaged in an argument, outside of 58-60 Page Pl. at 4:50 p.m. Law enforcement sources said the argument turned physical when the unidentifi ed perpetrator stabbed the victim under the left arm with an unknown object. The assailant fl ed the location on Page Place toward Grand Avenue in a gray van, law enforcement agents reported. Offi cers from the 104th Precinct responded to the scene, and EMS units transported the victim to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in stable condition. The suspect has been described as a Hispanic male, standing 6 feet tall, weighing 200 pounds, approximately 30 years old, and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue coat and operating a gray van. The NYPD has provided surveillance video footage of the gray van in question. All calls and messages will be confi dential. HUSBAND SHOOTS SELF AT WIFE’S GRAVE IN M.V. An elderly man has died aft er shooting himself in the head at the gravesite of his late wife inside St. John Cemetery in Middle Village on the aft ernoon of Jan. 27, according to police. Law enforcement sources said the incident occurred at about 3:03 p.m. on Jan. 27 inside the burial grounds off the corner of Metropolitan Avenue and 80th Street. According to the Diocese of Brooklyn and Queens, a groundskeeper heard a gunshot go off inside the burial grounds and went to investigate. Moments later, the worker found an 83-year-old man — whom the New York Daily News identifi ed as Robert Gallo — lying near a gravestone with a gunshot wound to his head. Police said the grave belongs to Gallo’s wife. The diocese indicated that cemetery workers recognized Gallo from his frequent visits to the grave. A .22-caliber gun was recovered from the scene. Offi cers from the 104th Precinct and EMS units responded to the incident. Gallo was brought to Elmhurst Hospital, where he later died of his injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
