Additionally, Q trains will be extended to the Astoria-Ditmars Boulevard station on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. For alternate service between Queens and Manhattan, transfer to the N or Q train at Queensboro Plaza or Times Square-42nd Street; or the E, F or R train at 74th Street. The shuttle buses will stop as follows: • Queensboro Plaza—on Queens Plaza South at 27th Street; • Queens Plaza—on 42nd Road at Jackson Avenue; • Court Square-23rd Street— on Jackson Avenue at 45th Avenue (to Vernon Boulevard-Jackson Avenue) or at Thomson Avenue (to Queensboro Plaza); • Hunters Point Avenue—on 21st Street at 49th Avenue; and • Vernon Boulevard-Jackson Avenue—on Vernon Boulevard and 50th Avenue. Some L Trains Run Short In Ridgewood The last stop for alternate Canarsie-bound L trains will be Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues on Monday through Friday, Feb. 2-6, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This D service change .will be in effect the following week, Feb. 9-13. Riders can transfer between Canarsie-bound L trains at Myrtle- Wyckoff Avenues to continue their tripuring this period, it was noted, L trains running between Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues and Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway will operate every 12 minutes. Riders are advised to plan their trips accordingly. Weekend Express For E Train In Qns. Jamaica Center-bound E trains will operate express service between Roosevelt Avenue and 71st-Continental Avenues late nights this weekend, from 12:15 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, until 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2. This service change will be repeated the following weekend, Feb. 7-9. It was noted that Jamaica Center-bound E trains and Jamaica-bound F trains will make local stops during this period. For service to the Elmhurst Avenue, Grand Avenue, Woodhaven Boulevard, 63rd Drive and 67th Avenue stations, take the E train to 71st- Continental Avenues, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound E or F train. For service from these stations, take the E train to Roosevelt Avenue, then transfer to a Jamaica Center-bound E train. Weekend Switch For F Trains To Jamaica Jamaica-bound F trains will run on the E line between 47th- 50th Streets and Roosevelt Avenue this weekend, from 9:45 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, until 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2. This service change will be repeated the following weekend, Feb. 6-9. As a result of this disruption, Jamaica-bound F trains will not stop at the 57th Street, Lexington Avenue-63rd Street, Roosevelt Island and 21st Street- Queensbridge stations. For service to these stops, take the F train to Roosevelt Avenue, then transfer to a Manhattanbound F train. For service from these stations, take the F train to 47th-50th Streets, then transfer to a Jamaica-bound F train. Late Night F Trains Skip Three Stations Jamaica-bound F trains will skip the 75th Avenue, Van Wyck Boulevard and Sutphin Boulevard stations late nights, Monday through Friday, from 10:45 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday, Feb. 20. Service will operate normally from 10:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16, through 5 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17. For service to the 75th Avenue and Van Wyck Boulevard stations, transfer to the E train at 71st- Continental Avenues or Union Turnpike. For service to Sutphin Boulevard, take the F train to Parsons Boulevard, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound F train. For service from Sutphin Boulevard, take the F train to Union Turnpike, then transfer to a Jamaica-bound F train. E & F Trains Skip Weekend Stations Jamaica Center-bound E trains and Jamaica-bound F trains will skip the 75th Avenue and Van Wyck Boulevard stations this weekend, from 11:45 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, until 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2. During this period, Jamaicabound F trains will also skip the Sutphin Boulevard station. For service to these stations, take the E train to Union Turnpike or Jamaica-Van Wyck, or the F train to Union Turnpike or Parsons Boulevard, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound E or F train. For service from these stations, take the E or F train to Union Turnpike or 71st-Continental Avenues, then transfer to a Jamaica Centerbound E train or a Jamaica-bound F train. Overnight Express For E Train In Qns. Manhattan-bound E trains will run express service between 71st- Continental Avenues and Roosevelt Avenue late nights, Monday through Friday, from 11:15 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday, Feb. 13. For service to the 67th Avenue, 63rd Drive, Woodhaven Boulevard, Grand Avenue and Elmhurst Avenue stations, take the E train to Roosevelt Avenue, then transfer to a Jamaica Centerbound E train. For service from these stations, take the E train to 71st-Continental Avenues, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound E train.S tation Renewal Affects A Train The Manhattan-bound platforms at the 88th Street and 104th Street A train stations in Ozone Park remain closed 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2, for repairs related to the MTA’s station renewal program. For service to these stations, take the A train to 80th Street, then transfer to an Ozone Park-bound or a Far Rockaway-bound A train. For service from these stations, take the A train to Rockaway Boulevard or 111th Street, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound A train. All calls and messages will be kept confidential. Traffic News And Changes -CONTINUED FROM PG. 14- Lane Closures On Grand Central Pkwy. One lane of the Grand Central Parkway in each direction will be closed between 82nd and 111th streets on weekdays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. on weekdays. Lane closures will also take place from 10 p.m. Fridays to 7 a.m. Saturdays and from 10 p.m. Saturdays to 3 p.m. Sundays. Two lanes of traffic in each direction may be closed on weeknights from 12:01 until 5 a.m., Saturdays from 1 to 6 a.m. and Sundays from 1 to 9 a.m. Sewer Work Leads To Pkwy. Closures One of three lanes of the Belt Parkway between Cross Bay Boulevard and 194th Street in either direction may be closed on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and weeknights 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Additionally, two of three lanes in either direction may be closed in this segment on early weekday mornings from 1 to 5 a.m. The closures are required to allow for sewer reconstruction, which is expected to continue through July 2016. Furthermore, one of two lanes of the Nassau Expressway exit ramp to the eastbound Belt Parkway between 115th and 128th streets will be closed until further notice.
