TIMES, THURSDAY, JANUARY 29, 2015 • 14 Man Fires Gun At LIC Club, Drugs Found In His Vehicle Cops Recover Cocaine, Meth And Xanax by Anthony Giudice A gun-toting club-goer was collared by police after firing a gun at bouncers in front of a Long Island City club last Wednesday, Jan. 21, police reported. The gunman, 29-year-old Aaron Dockery, and a friend were escorted out of Club Lit on Steinway Street last Wednesday morning at around 2:30 a.m. for acting belligerently, according to witnesses. After being denied readmittance, law enforcement officials said, Dockery allegedly threatened to come back and shoot up the night club. Dockery reportedly ran across the street to his 2010 Dodge Charger, pulled out a black and silver Taurus 9mm semiautomatic handgun and headed towards the establishment. Police said he fired one shot before running back to his car where Police Officers Lucas McDonald and James Nostramo of the 114th Precinct were already waiting. When Dockery saw the officers at his car, authorities said, he allegedly turned around and ran down Steinway Street to 36th Avenue. Nostramo, pursing on foot, saw Dockery toss the firearm underneath a parked car. McDonald followed close behind in a marked police car and Dockery—along with the loaded gun—was in police custody -SEE DRUGS ON PG. 23- Say Corona Man Tried To Lure Girl Alleged Kid Pornographer Faces Extra Charges by Robert Pozarycki Previously accused of engaging minors in an x-rated game, a Corona man was back in court last week for allegedly trying to lure an Oklahoma girl into a tryst, prosecutors announced.
