On Dec. 7, the bikers, accompanied by Santa Claus, dropped off more than 100 toys to NYFAC’s first annual toy run, which started at Forest Park and ended at the NYFAC headquarters in Howard Beach. They also raised over $3,000. The toys and donations will go toward NYFAC’S annual holiday party, which will take place Dec. 14. “We had a great turnout,” said Frank Scafo, NYFAC Foundation board member and one of the organizers of the event. “But more than anything, we were able to help the kids — that’s what matters most.” NYFAC members also did not hesitate to thank all the local organizations and police precincts that helped make the event a success. They included the 102nd and 106th precincts, state Sen.
