Star students join DA’s advisory council
Seniors Jaylene Cruz and Jordan Nacimba at Pan American International High
School in Elmhurst have been recommended to serve on Queens District Attorney
Richard A. Brown’s Student Advisory Council. Lissette Burgos, the school’s community
associate, recommended them because of their dedicated work on campus. Th e
advisory council educates students on the criminal justice system and discusses actual
cases which the DA’s offi ce handles. Cruz is looking to attend John Jay College and
eventually become a forensic detective. Nacimba, meanwhile, also wants to attend
John Jay College en route to a career at the FBI.
