State Quart Officers Association by President Dennis W. Quirk. Christ the King High School honored the following students as Students of the Month for their grades. They were recognized for their hard work and dedication to their education. From l-r: Julianna Lingowski, Melecia O’Malley, Erich Naumann, Jessica Fischer, Angela Siano, Cassandra Pantelides, John Zhang and Mary Yanez. Janet Koch will assume the position of executive director of Life’s WORC as Peter Smergut retires after 20 years in the position. Since 2009, Koch has been the chief financial officer of the nonprofit, which supports and advocates for individuals with disabilities and their families. GOLF & TENNIS OUTING The 18th annual Wyckoff Hospital Golf and Tennis Classic took place on Monday, Oct. 6 at the Old Westbury Golf & Country Club. The day included a registration and brunch, golf and tennis, a cocktail reception and a dinner. Proceeds benefitted Wyckoff Heights Medical Center.
