Cops seek man who threw
drink at bus driver in
Springfi eld Gardens
Th e NYPD is looking for a man who
tossed a drink at a bus driver’s face while
aboard a bus near Springfi eld Gardens
last month.
On Monday, Sept. 14, around 1:15 a.m.,
an unidentifi ed man was on a southbound
Q111 bus near Farmers Boulevard
and Brewer Boulevard, according to the
NYPD.
Th e man began to get in an argument
with the 37-year-old bus driver, then
threw an unknown liquid into the driver’s
face, police said. Th e man then got
off the bus and fl ed in an unknown direction
. Th e driver was taken to Jamaica
Hospital Medical Center to be treated.
Th e assailant is described as a bald
man in his 30s. He was last seen wearing
a black jacket, a black shirt and a black
backpack.

Man robs two women
in Sunnyside: NYPD
Th e NYPD is looking for a man who
beat and robbed two women in Sunnyside
earlier this month.
On Monday, Oct. 5, around 8:20 p.m.,
a 50-year-old woman and a 21-year-old
woman were entering a residential building
near 44th Street and 43rd Avenue
when they were approached by an unidentifi
ed man, according to the NYPD.
Th e man began to punch and kick both
of the women, eventually grabbing one of
their purses, according to the police. He
then ran off with the purse, which contained
a cellphone, credit cards and personal
items, got on an electronic bike
and fl ed northbound on 44th Street, cops
said.
EMS personnel took both women to
Elmhurst hospital in stable conditions.
Th e man is described as being around
40 years old, with a medium build and no
hair, police said.

Man punches woman
in the face on 7 train
in Flushing: NYPD
Th e NYPD is looking for a man who
allegedly punched a woman in the face
while aboard a 7 train in Flushing last
month.
On Wednesday, Sept. 9, around 6:30
p.m., a 32-year-old woman was riding
on a Queens bound 7 train. As the train
approached the Main Street station, the
woman got into a verbal dispute with
an unidentifi ed man, according to the
NYPD.
As the argument escalated, the man
punched the woman in the face, cops
said. When the train doors opened, the
man exited the subway car into the station,
according to the police. Th e 32-yearold
chased aft er her attacker but lost him
when he exited the station.
Th e woman was taken to NewYork-
Presbyterian Hospital Queens, where she
was treated for cuts and bruising to her
face.
Police say the man was last seen fl eeing
westbound on Roosevelt Avenue before
entering 40-05 College Point Blvd.
