The event not only celebrated the cultural institution but also recognized art collector Nancy Nasher and sculptor Melvin Edwards. Guests enjoyed an evening of fine food and music along the East River. Proceeds from the event will go toward Socrates Park’s ongoing operations and programs. State Senators James Sanders and Leroy Comrie were among those recognized for their achievements and political support. The WIN Foundation provides various grants to students to help them attain higher education and career advancement.
