DOLPHINS The Flushing High School Red Devils routed the Beach Channel High School Dolphins, 44-0. The Red Devils had a total of 375 offensive yards. Senior Terrence Chavis was responsible for three touchdowns, one of which came through the air. Chavis fi nished with 60 passing yards, completing four of seven passes. The other two touchdowns came on the ground with Chavis rushing for 43 yards on six attempts. Senior D’Andre Sapp led the Red Devils with 196 rushing yards on 18 attempts and a touchdown. Seniors Marcus Mendez and Demetrie Narcisse each had a touchdown. Next up for the Red Devils will be the Thomas Jefferson Campus Orange Wave. BULL DOGS VS. VIKINGS The Campus Magnet Bull Dogs can’t get a break. They extended their losing streak to 0-4 after their latest game against South Shore High School Vikings, 42-6. The Bull Dogs were unable to get anything going with just 151 offensive yards, while the Vikings had a total of 400 yards. Bull Dogs’ junior Que Ruan Mosby went 8-18 through the air, throwing for 69 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. On the ground Mosby rushed for a team-high 29 yards on seven attempts. Vikings sophomore Jason Martin went 6-12 through the air, throwing for 185 yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Martin rushed for 55 yards on fi ve attempts. Senior Timothy Bowers had a game-high 90 rushing yards on fi ve attempts with two touchdowns. Sophomore Rafael Cordero had two touchdowns as well to go along with 62 yards on eight attempts. Bowl Division COMMODORES VS. COUGARS The Bayside Commodores lost their fi rst game of the season at the hands of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Cougars by a score of 16-6. The Commodores had a total of 189 offensive yards. The Cougars had a total of 266 offensive yards. For the Commodores junior Abiola Shobitan led the team with 80 yards on the ground and the team’s only touchdown. The Cougars senior Kaseem Morrison completed four of fi ve passes, which was good for 92 yards and a touchdown. On the ground senior Jerrell Richards led the team with 94 yards on just fi ve attempts and a touchdown. The next game for the Commodores will be against the Springfi eld Gardens High School Golden Eagles. SPARTANS VS. BLUE DEVILS The John Adams High School Spartans beat the Tilden Educational Campus Blue Devils by a score of 32-26. The Spartans, who had a total of 254 yards, did most of their damage on the ground. The team was led by junior Errol James, who rushed for 196 yards on 16 attempts and three touchdowns. Senior Dorian Anderson and freshman Genesis Wilson each had a touchdown on the defensive side of the ball. The Blue Devils senior Neville Samuel completed four of 10 passes, throwing for 106 yards and two touchdowns. Next up for the Spartans will be the Franklin K. Lane Campus Knights.
