Jonathan S. West President Charles H. Greenthal Management Corp. After graduating from New Hampshire University, Jonathan West began his real estate career as an account executive with the Lefrak Organization, focusing on residential property management. In 1985 he joined the Charles H. Greenthal Group. By 1988 he assumed total responsibility for commercial and retail leasing, consummating transactions with retailers such as Eddie Bauer, D’Agostino, Chaus Industries, Duane Reade, Nine West, North Fork Bank, Chase Bank and Bank of America. West also served as liaison between landlords, brokers, purchasers and counsel in the conversion of 15,000 rental units to cooperatives and condominiums. In 1995, appointed president of the Charles H. Greenthal Group, he supervised the operation of all aspects of the company and its employees, coordinated real estate management activities for Greenthal’s complete portfolio, including 25,000 residential units in the Metropolitan area as well as multi-family dwellings and shopping centers in Florida, Virginia and North Carolina and was (and remains) a principal in approximately 3,000 residential units and 124,000-square-feet of commercial space. Currently West is involved with 16 parking garage locations in Manhattan, supervises construction and renovations in multi-family dwellings and continues to be responsible for commercial, medical and professional leasing. He has significantly grown Greenthal’s portfolio, negotiating to purchase other management companies, and is now becoming involved in greening the environment. Under his leadership, Greenthal has been named Management Company of the Year. Greenthal managed buildings are consistently cited by the MANHATTAN COOPERATOR in their annual “Top Ten Best Buildings” list and the company has been rated one of the preeminent 25 third-party managers by the National Multi Housing Council. West holds a real estate license in New York and Connecticut and is a licensed insurance broker. He serves on five condominium and cooperative boards and the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). He is active in various charitable organizations, among them UJA and various children’s charities. He and his wife, Staci, who have two daughters, Alexa and Jamie, have helped to fund special children’s play rooms at Sloan Kettering and New York University Hospitals for use by children in need of special health care. Joe Mattone Jr. Partner Mattone, Mattone, Mattone, Megna & Todd Joseph M. Mattone, Jr. is currently a partner in the law firm of Mattone, Mattone, Mattone, Megna & Todd. As such, he represents purchasers, sellers and banking institutions in residential and commercial real estate transactions including sale-leasebacks, 1031 Exchanges and swaps in real estate transactions. In addition to the transfers, he handles all related issues: title problems, bankruptcies, personal property sales, mechanic’s lien clearance, estate probate and commercial litigation. He handles all title related issues arising from commercial and residential real estate transactions. In addition, he represents several major lending institutions on real property and cooperative apartment foreclosure actions. Mattone, Jr. also handles Surrogate Proceedings and litigations in attention to commercial litigation. Mattone, Jr. is admitted to the New York State Bar and is also admitted in the Eastern District of New York Federal Courts. He is a member of the Queens County Bar Association and Columbian Lawyer Association, serving as president in 2007, and member of the Catholic Lawyers Association since 1988. In addition to his professional associations, he has served on the Boards of Directors of United Cerebral Palsy, the Bayside Hills Civic Association and the American Cancer Society (Queens Chapter). Mattone, Jr. currently resides in Douglaston Manor, New York, has been married to his wife Peggy for 21 years and has three children, Joseph III, Jacqueline and Patricia. Seth Taylor Executive Director 82nd Street Partnership Seth Taylor is the executive director of the 82nd Street Partnership, an awardwinning neighborhood development group founded in 1990 that serves over 175 businesses in Jackson Heights and Elmhurst. Its mission is to improve neighborhood quality of life and support small business growth by creating more inviting and vibrant commercial corridors. Since joining the organization in 2012, Taylor and his team have led a neighborhood revitalization effort that focuses on public space development, business assistance, historic preservation and neighborhood branding. Prior to his appointment, Taylor worked with other business improvement districts across the city including the Union Square Partnership, Downtown Brooklyn Partnership and the 34th Street Partnership. Taylor is a 2002 graduate of Lafayette College and he received a M.S. in city planning from Pratt Institute’s School of Architecture. In 2012, Taylor participated in the Neighborhood Leadership Program, a joint initiative of Coro and New York City’s Department of Small Business Services.
