The community was invited to attend this free special event held at Queens Library’s Whitestone Community Library. The afternoon consisted of a special storytime reading of “Wheels on the Bus,” a school bus-themed arts & crafts activity and refreshments. An enthusiastic group of preschoolers and their parents participated in the festivities and enjoyed interacting with neighbors and Vallo Transportation employee volunteers. In addition, Vallo Transportation provided Queens Library with a grant to underwrite the acquisition of new children’s books for the branch. “We’re delighted to celebrate our fifth year sponsoring this literacy initiative with our partner Queens Library.
