Principal Debora Hanna is proud to display the beautiful artistic creations from the children of the school and the adults of the parish. This effort is led by art teacher Sue DeLeon, who is committed year after year to make this art exhibit a spectacular experience for all who attend. Artwork displayed included self portraits, elaborate renditions of scenes from legendary films such as “Fantasia,” and floral scene setters. Theresa Kelly, Senior Vice President of Flushing Bank, was honored at a golf outing to raise money for a local charity. GALA New York Hospital Queens' 18th annual Spring Night Gala, held last evening at Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers in New York City, brought in more than $800,000 to support the hospital's cancer center programs. Approximately 535 attendees, who included hospital leaders and clinical staff, benefactors and grateful patients, attended the fundraiser. Hollis Hills residents Jill and Joseph Levy, directors of the Page & Otto Marx Jr. Foundation, were honored with the 2014 Pacesetter Award, the highest award conferred by NYHQ.
