A knife-wielding robber who held up a Dunkin’ Donuts shop in Howard Beach on Wednesday night hit two other eateries in Queens earlier this month, according to police. The most recent stickup occurred at 11:55 p.m. on May 25 inside the eatery located at 163-02 Cross Bay Blvd. According to authorities, the suspect — described as a black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, brown work boots and black and white gloves — entered the location and displayed a knife. Authorities said the bandit then walked behind the counter and demanded that a worker open the register. The suspect then grabbed $776 in cash and fl ed the scene westbound on 163rd Avenue. The suspect then grabbed $500 in cash out of the register and fl ed. Then, at 11:30 p.m. on May 23, the suspect came calling to the Dunkin’ Donuts shop at 146- 36 45th Ave. in Flushing. Police said he displayed a knife and demanded that a male worker open two cash registers. The employee complied with the request, and the suspect removed a combined $600 in cash before fl eeing. The NYPD released security camera footage from this incident. NBC New York reported that the NYPD Queens Robbery Squad is investigating a possible link between the Queens holdups and an active business robbery pattern in Nassau and Suffolk counties. All calls and messages are kept confi dential. 111TH PRECINCT Bayside, Douglaston, Little Neck Bank crasher in Bayside charged with DWI The driver behind the wheel of the car that crashed into a bank at the Bay Terrace Shopping Center on May 31 has been charged with DWI, cops said. The individual, identifi ed by police as a 69-yearold man, lost control of his vehicle and smashed into the bank located at 23-98 Bell Blvd. in Bayside at 11:50 a.m., police said. When offi cers from the 109th Precinct approached the vehicle, the driver had a strong odor of alcohol about him, they said. According to authorities, the driver and two others sustained minor injuries due to the accident and were transported to North Shore-LIJ in Manhasset. 115TH PRECINCT Corona, Jackson Heights 83-year-old woman dies after driver hits parked car in Jackson Heights A woman died on Sunday afternoon (May 29) after the driver of the car she was in hit a parked car in Jackson Heights. The 86-year-old driver of a 2006 Toyota Corolla was traveling westbound on 34th Avenue and 91st Street at approximately 2:17 p.m. when it struck an unoccupied 2016 Chevrolet, police said. Amy Huang, 83, of 73rd Street in Jackson Heights was in the passenger seat. The collision forced the Chevrolet on to the sidewalk where it collided with scaffolding. Both passengers were taken to Elmhurst Hospital, police said. The driver was treated for lacerations to his arm, but Huang was pronounced dead after sustaining serious head and body trauma. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. Group used knife, tire iron and cane to viciously attack man in Jackson Heights Police are looking for four suspects who viciously assaulted a man in Jackson Heights earlier this month. At approximately 8:20 p.m. on May 19, four men attacked a 24-year-old at the intersection of 32nd Avenue and 74th Street. The suspects stabbed the victim with a knife and repeatedly struck him with a tire iron and cane in the head and body, police said. The men fl ed eastbound on 32nd Avenue. The victim suffered lacerations to his back and head and was transported to Elmhurst Hospital in critical but stable condition. All four suspects were described by police as Hispanic males between 16 and 24 years of age, standing between 5 foot 5 inches and 5 foot 8 inches tall, with slim builds. One suspect was last seen wearing a black sweater with white graphics on the front, blue jeans and black and white sneakers. A second perpetrator wore a red T-shirt, blue jeans and red sneakers. The third assailant was last observed wearing a black hooded sweater and black pants, and the fourth suspect wore a black hooded sweater and light blue jeans.
