A total of 22 Queens neighborhoods showed up on Niche’s top 100 “2017 Best Neighborhoods to Live in New York City” report. Th e fi rst “World’s Borough” neighborhood to appear on the list is Hollis Hills at No. 36. A neighborhood within Bayside, the area has a population of 6,004 and received an overall A+ grade. Th e median home value within the northeast Queens neighborhood clocks in at $620,475. Coming in at No. 38 is Forest Hills. With a reported population of 76,612, the central Queens neighborhood received an A for its diversity and for being good for families. Th e median household income for the area is $75,571, Niche reports. Little Neck took No. 41 on the list, followed by Kew Gardens at No. 42. Douglaston, Astoria, Long Island City, Glen Oaks and Bay Terrace took No.’s 44, 46, 47, 48 and 49, respectively.
