Prior to joining LeFrak, Mario worked in wealth management and investment banking in South Florida and Puerto Rico. MICHAEL MATTONE Michael X. Mattone is the chief fi nancial offi cer of the Mattone Group, a real estate development company that owns and manages its portfolio of more than 2 million square feet of property in the New York Metropolitan area. He is responsible for fi nancial planning for real estate acquisitions and development projects as well as managing the daily fi nancial affairs for the company. SAL PANICO Sal Panico, a 45-year-veteran of the development, construction and management industries, is the president and CEO of Cord Meyer Development Company. The fi rst president and CEO who is not a member of the Meyer family, Panico is responsible not only for the daily operation of the century-old fi rm but also for the attainment of its long-term goals. MODERATOR FRANK KORZEKWINSKI Frank Korzekwinski is senior executive vice president, chief of real estate for Flushing Bank, A New York State Charted Commercial Bank. Under his direction, Flushing Bank manages a $ 3.3 billion portfolio of real estate loans that includes multifamily real estate, commercial real estate, mixed-use real estate and one to four family lending. CHRIS SHEHADEH Chris Shehadeh is the New York regional director for Tishman Speyer, responsible for all aspects of the New York area business, a portfolio of approximately 18 million square feet. Since joining Tishman Speyer in 2000, he has held leadership roles in leasing, asset management, development and acquisitions, including leading the acquisition joint venture between Tishman Speyer and GoldenTreeInSite Partners. DAVE BRICKMAN Dave Brickman, director of Onex Real Estate Partners, has been actively involved in the execution of the 2.5-millionsquare foot fi rst phase of the mixed-use project in Flushing known as Sky View Parc and The Shops at Sky View Center, including development, retail leasing and residential condo sales. He oversees leasing and asset management at the 785,000-square-foot shopping center and is a director of development for The Grand at Sky View Parc. DAVID DISHY David Dishy is responsible for all new investment and development activity at L+M, including the New York Affordable Housing (NYAH) Preservation Fund, an investment platform with Citi Community Capital as well as L+M’s joint venture with Goldman Sachs’ Urban Investment Group (GSLM). He brings over 20 years of new construction and acquisitions experience and has been a key participant in transactions involving over 15,000 apartments and $5 billion of investment. Prior to RXR, Pinsky was the director of Mayor Bloomberg’s Special Initiative for Rebuilding and Resiliency, which developed a $20 billion plan to protect the city from climate change impacts. MICHAEL MEYER Michael Meyer is the president of the F&T Group, a real estate services company with offi ces in New York and China. He has elevated F&T’s profi le from an outer-borough real estate developer to an international player by forging partnerships with Rockefeller Development Group and AECOM Capital on their $1B Flushing Commons project and JP Morgan Asset Fund on their 3.4-million-square-foot World Trade Center in Nanjing, China. ERIC BENAIM Eric Benaim is the founder of Modern Spaces, which has grown to be the leading brokerage and marketing fi rm in LIC. In just six years, Benaim has expanded the company to offi ces in LIC, Manhattan, Astoria and Brooklyn, and the company has successfully marketed over $1 billion in sales to date.
