She has contributed significantly to the continued leadership of Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation in the field of long term care. Among the achievements that establish her as a rising star are: Working with Parker’s Department of Public Affairs and Government Relations, Stacey assisted in the research, development and creative implementation of email blasts designed for marketing, public relations and development outreach. Acting as liaison to Parker’s Associate Board of Trustees, Stacey played an important role in the planning and implementation of Associate Board events as well as recruitment efforts integral to the growth of the Associate Board of Trustees, H H HMICHAEL J CASSANO Financial Advisor NCFG, an office of MetLife Michael Cassano has been a resident of Oakland Gardens since 2007. As an Investment Advisor at North Coast Financial Group, an offi ce of MetLife, Cassano has built a thriving practice that has him recognized as a Million Dollar Round Table and Leaders Conference qualifi er. He has clients throughout Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Bronx and Staten Island as well as Long Island, New Jersey and abroad. Since his arrival in Queens he has continued to blossom both professionally, as well as becoming a community service ambassador. Cassano is a U.S. Marine veteran that presently serves as the 3rd Vice Commander of the CWV Post 1772. In addition, he is also the President of the American Martyrs Athletic Association. Cassano propelled back to prominence a sports program that was all but abandoned and destined for abolishment. Through hours and hours of hard work and dedication he is now overseeing and leading the AMAA with has a family that totals 150 members. His volunteering also has him spending time at the Cohen’s Children’s Hospital in New Hyde Park, where he visits children that need a smile or laugh to brighten their days. and its support of patient and resident care programs. Ms. Altman contributed to Parker’s status as a leading teaching institution, by mentoring multiple administrative students, many of whom later became employed by Parker in various administrative roles. Stacey led Parker’s effort to comply with the new, New York State Department of Health e-FINDS system for emergency management. She served as Evening Administrator on Duty, carefully monitoring the status of new admissions, and assisting in the orientation of new admissions and their families. She was an active contributor on a committee to ease the transition of new admissions from hospitals. This critically important activity included changing the procedures of how rooms were prepared and residents were welcomed. Stacey has been an integral part of the administrative team during emergency response situations, H including Hurricane Sandy, snowstorms and two major power outages. Stacey Altman is truly a “rising star” in the field of long term care. EFRAIN GUEVARA Assistant Vice President Branch Administration Manager New York Community Bancorp Inc. Efrain Guevara has been an employee of New York Community Bank since 2005. Originally working as a teller, Guevara has worked his way up the corporate ladder to his current position of Assistant Vice President, Branch Administration Manager. In his current position Guevara is responsible for pre paring, modifying, and publishing policies, operating procedures, forms, and other reference materials for branch network. In addition to his current position he also provides systems, administrative, and operational support to over 270 branch locations across fi ve states. In the past years, Guevara has worked and volunteered with many different organizations and charitable organizations, a few of which are BronxWorks, J u v e n i l e D i a b e t e s foundation, L a n c e r s Marching Band, and the Kips Bay Boys a n d G i r l s Club. H
