CARRASCO Mortgage Loan Officer Everbank With over nine years of residential and commercial mortgage lending experience, Mauricio A. Carrasco has been able to establish a strong foundation of repeat customers and referral partners. Focused primarily on new home buyers, he has successfully originated and funded over 750 mortgage loans throughout Queens, Brooklyn and Long Island. His network of attorneys, title companies and real estate professionals has positioned him for success and has allowed his clients the benefi ts of his professional relationships. He is an active member of NYAMB, LIBOR and NAHREP. The New York retail team at EverBank is growing, with the common goal of funding mortgages and offering exceptional service to clients and referral partners. LOGAN O’CONNOR Owner Logan’s Cafe and Logan’s Catering LLC. Logan O’Connor is a local Whitestone chef and owner of Logan’s Cafe and Logan’s Catering LLC. He discovered his love of cooking as a child, practicing in his home kitchen and often preparing meals for his family. As a teenager he attended a Culinary Arts High School as well as taking a course at the Culinary Institute of America, where he learned a great deal. Now, he dedicates his time into running his businesses and promoting different events that he plans and caters to create a constant fl ow of new customers and keep the already regular customers coming back for more. FRANCIS PAPADOPOULOS Assistant Vice President Branch Manager Investors Bank Francis Papadopoulos is the Assistant Vice President Branch manager for Investors Bank at the Steinway offi ce. Her responsibilities as a branch manager are to coach staff members and to oversee their development. “Investors Bank is more than a bank and more than a job,” said Papadopoulos. “It is a way of life. We are able to advance our careers and grow within the bank. Our coworkers become valued friends.” From 1998-2006 Papadopoulos worked at the YMCA off of Queens Boulevard. When she left the YMCA she started working as a teller and through hard work, dedication and leadership she was able to advance. Papadopoulos is currently on the board for the Federation of Hellenic Societies of Greater NY and on the committee for the Greek Parade. She is also on the committee for events at the YMCA. SHERON THOMPSON Department Manager for Customer Service Delta Air Lines at LaGuardia Airport Sheron Thompson is currently a Department Manager for Customer Service at Delta’s domestic hub in LaGuardia. Thompson initially began her Delta career as a fl ight attendant in 1979. Following positions of increased responsibilities with several other companies, she returned to Delta in 1996 as a Reservations Sales Agent. During her current time with Delta, Thompson has held positions in training, customer service, alliances and project manager. Thompson holds a bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College in Boston, Massachusetts with additional course work at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She is an active volunteer with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. H H H
