Safe summer fun for everyone
Summertime and fun time go hand in hand. As you
spend more hours outdoors, remember these tips
to keep yourself and your family safe and enjoying
all the wonderful things summer has to offer.

Protect yourself from
UV rays.
– Drink plenty of water.
– Wear lightweight, loose-fitting
clothing to protect against
UV rays while keeping cool.
– Limit strenuous activity
during prime sun hours.
Choose morning or evening
for intense exercise.
– Apply sunscreen and a
protective lip balm with an
SPF of 15 or higher. Be sure to
reapply frequently, especially
after swimming.
Protect yourself from
mosquito and tick bites.
– Use mosquito repellent.
– Install or repair window
