Brenda Janowitz, author of “The Dinner Party,”
will be the featured guest speaker at Migdal/
Hadassah’s Annual Book and Author Luncheon,
at Towers on the Green, Tuesday, September 12, at 11:30
a.m. Janowitz also wrote “The Lonely Hearts Club” and
“Recipe for a Happy Life.” A Long Island resident, she is
no stranger to North Shore Towers, as her grandmother
lived here at one time.
“The Dinner Party,”a smart and funny novel; it
starts with a Seder and ends with a Rosh Hashanah
dinner. Paperback copies will be sold at the luncheon
for $10, and the author will be happy to autograph
copies.
Luncheon starts at 11:30 a.m. Admission is $45.
The registration deadline is Wednesday, September 6.
Luncheon proceeds will benefit Hadassah Hospital.
Hadassah members, associates, friends and the
Towers community are all welcome to attend.
