Good Golly, Ms. Jolly! Photos by Julie Weissman Ahhh…! The rites of spring signaled it was time for our gala luncheon at the Jolly Fisherman in Roslyn. The event took place on Wednesday, May 17, to a full house of NST Women’s Club members. Opening remarks were made by Co-President Jullie Weissman, citing the success of the last three programs sponsored by the club, presentations on Mikhail Baryshnikov, Bruce Springsteen, and Judge Judy. Co-president Bobbie Gould emceed the program and announced the membership total at 314 members. Gould went on to introduce the members of the steering committee. Additional remarks were made by Programs and Events Chair Women Rosalie Goodman and Gloria Beck and the untiring Chickie Kaufman. Entertainment was provided by Michael Dos Santos, who had members literally dancing in the aisles to the strains of Sinatra, Neil Diamond and ending with a rousing hora.
