Steve Redlich Phyllis Goldstein Mel Fox Stanley J. Goldsmith, M.D. I currently serve as Board member and Treasurer of NST. I chair the finance committee, the insurance subcommittee, and manage the budget process for the NST Apartment Corporation and the Towers Country Club. Due to the passing of Mort Gitter, I have chaired the Country Club committee for the past 8 months. Several of my accomplishments include no maintenance increases for the past two years, on target budget projections, upgrading the accounting system, meticulous cash management of NST funds, and the substantial reduction of insurance premiums without a reduction in coverage. I hold an MBA in finance and accounting. I began as a commercial bank lending officer for 12 years, specializing in asset based lending and leveraged leasing. For the past 38 years, I have been President and CEO of a flourishing plastics manufacturing company. As an owner of commercial real estate, I also have extensive experience working with tenants, architects, lawyers, and building contractors. I was an executive board member and treasurer of the Pennsylvania Manufacturers Association for 15 years, meeting with elected representatives both locally & in Washington, DC to promote U.S. manufacturing. I served as treasurer of my Temple for 8 years. 1975 was a great year for Mitch and me…in Oct. we moved into an amazing community… North Shore Towers! There have been changes over the years and I’m proud to have been a part of them. As a member of the Board of Directors I chaired the Enhancement Committee that renovated the courtyard and created the beautiful garden that so many of us enjoy. I chaired the Mandatory General Membership Committee that amended the proprietary lease to require every new resident to be a club member. That has generated millions of dollars for the club. These past two years, as Chair of the GAP Committee, have been very busy. First we renovated the indoor pool, which will be completed this summer. And second, we completed phase one of the renovation of the outdoor pool, which we are now enjoying. All this has maintained our identity as a premier co-op community. But what truly sets us apart is what we, you and I, did together by amending the proprietary lease to prohibit smoking in the interiors of our buildings. I would like to continue to work for our community. Please support and vote for me. • Life-long resident of New York City • World War II Veteran • Vice President of large textile company with years of sales experience and problem-solving strengths • Vice President of Marathon Jewish Center greatly involved with development of funding and a member of spiritual committee • NST resident for 27 years • NST UJA Honoree • Member of NST Country Club Committee I believe our community is under-valued in real estate circles and needs a fresh approach. . Having filled a Board vacancy resulting from the passing of Board President Mort Gitter, I have attended and participated in many of the Board Committee meetings for the past 9 months. This experience has exposed me to the issues and needs confronting our Community and prepared me to generate new initiatives to improve life at NST. I have been a resident of NST since 2009. 4 years ago, I stepped down as Director of Nuclear Medicine at Weil Cornell, but continue to perform patient studies and teach at the post-doctoral level. I have served as the President of a national medical society, the Editor-in-Chief for a major medical journal, as New York State Commissioner dealing with Waste Disposal and as an Advisor to the FDA and the IAEA. I have been a Director of a medical specialty Board and of a medical high tech equipment company. Based on my over 40 years experience as a Director of Hospital departments with experience in budgeting, people and resource management and problem solving, I am well prepared to serve as a Director of the NST. I seek you vote and support of this goal. ANNUAL SHAREHOLDERS MEETING Thursday, June 15, 2017 7:30 p.m.—Movie Theater It’s time to vote for your Board Members!
