David McCullough has twice received the Pulitzer Prize, for Truman and John Adams, and twice received the National Book Award. He is the recipient of numerous honors and awards, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian award. He is the author of a new book The Wright Brothers. WEDNESDAY, MAY 27TH, 2015 Queens College presents Gamelan Yowana Sari performing the music from Bali, Indonesia 8 PM – VIP Room The ensemble plays traditional music that has survived through hundreds of years. The group is in residence at Queens College and The Aaron Copland School of Music and is directed by Professor Michael Lipsey.
