TAKING OFF
Ken Jaikarran, 16, seems to take off into the heavens at the swing
playground at Murray Park in Long Island City.
With the arrival of hundreds of families to the area, this once gritty
urban park has become a leafy oasis for dozens of people every day.
It’s all part of the transformation of this neighborhood.
There’s no place like it!
