■SUNNYSIDE SHINES IN SUNNYSIDE fun UPCOMING Sunnyside Restaurant Week This year, Sunnyside Restaurant Week – an annual showcase of local cuisine – will take place Oct. 19-23. Participating establishments will offer a three-course dinner consisting of an appetizer, a main dish and a dessert at $25 per person. All diners will find something new to explore and some restaurants will offer special dishes to entice regulars back. Third Thursdays in Bliss Plaza The Third Thursdays music series in Bliss Plaza under the 46th Street 7 train station continues into the fall with McManus Irish Dance on Sept. 17 at 6:30 p.m. Join Sunnyside Shines and ReCreate Queens for a full hour of music and entertainment celebrating Ireland’s vibrant culture. At 7:30 p.m., the Queens World Film Festival will present a selection of short films highlighting the best of their 2015 collection.
