Editor’s note: Orestes Gonzalez is an architect, photographer, writer and resident of LIC since 1989. It shows two strangers, waiting for the bus, unaware of my intrusion. This scene reminds me of Edward Hopper’s famous painting, ‘Nighthawks.’ It shows how intriguing the city is at every hour of the day and night.
