PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
BY STANLEY R. GREENBERG, CPA
Welcome to Spring!
It is the time of year at Le Havre that we all look forward
to most. I hope that everyone is enjoying the beautiful
flowers that our landscaper has planted, with the
input of Susan Stokar and her beautification committee.
Playground Completion:
I am pleased to report that there was a fantastic turnout
at the official opening of the playground by B#27
on Sunday, April 18. I believe there were more than 50
people in attendance which included our younger set.
There were goodie bags and balloons for the children
and everybody seemed to have an exciting time, utilizing
the new swings, etc. Please refer to the article
and many pictures elsewhere in this Courier for more
coverage on the grand opening. Thank you to Carla
DeStefano and her group of young families who are
revitalizing the participation of the younger families
throughout Le Havre and I look forward to many other
children’s activities in the coming months.
Pools:
Pool season is right around the corner. As you
are aware, Pool #2 will be opening on schedule on
Saturday, May 29 and, for the first time in quite a while,
we will be opening Pool #1 on this same day. Pool #2
will be open every day thereafter for the summer season.
Pool #1 will be open only on the weekends until
June 26. After Saturday, June 26, Pool #1
will remain open every day. Please keep
in mind that Covid rules will still need to
be followed. Further information will be
forthcoming as we are updated by NYC
and the Dept. of Health.
Cement Work:
This year we plan to replace the cement
under 4 buildings, as part of our ongoing program.
Work has commenced under B#19 at this time.
B#15, B#31 & B#9 will also be done this year since
they are in most need of the remediation work. That will
leave 5 buildings to be completed the following year, or
as time and weather permit.
Financial Summary:
The 9 months ending March 31, 2021 (budgeted
versus actual) showed total revenues of $.13,339,119
(69.59%) of the budgeted amount of $19,168,187 and
total expenses of $13,324,899 (69.51 %) of the budgeted
amount of $19,168,137 as reported by our accountants.
The positive variance is due to the overall savings
from the loan refinancing.
Spectrum Bulk Video & Bulk Internet Access
Service:
I want to make everyone aware that July 1 is coming
very fast, that being the date that the Spectrum Bulk
Program commences at Le Havre. As everyone is
already aware, registration is needed for this program
and we urge you to register now if you are
interested in availing yourself of this money
saving package.
I want to point out that the surveys collected
some months ago do not enroll you
for the Spectrum service. The survey was for
informational purposes only, in order to evaluate
the interest of residents before making a decision to
proceed with the program.
As stated previously, Onboard is in charge of registering
people as well as the advertising and marketing
for Spectrum services. In order to make this a smooth
transition and so as not to have any lapse in service, you
need to make sure that Onboard has all of your billing
information ASAP (see Sidebar). We ask that you
please do not call the Management office with inquiries.
HOW TO REACH ONBOARD FOR YOUR
SPECTRUM SERVICE:
• Email at info@letsonboard.com
• Calling them at (315) 873-2223
• Chatting with a representative via live chat at
onboardtoday.com/lehavre.
Once again, I would like to thank all residents for
their continued support and hope that you enjoy the
beginning of the summer season.

It’s Story Time!
Le Havre Board member Carla DeStefano has been very
active in coordinating activities that involve the community’s
families and their children.
“Story Time” is a great warm-weather get-together for
parents and kids. It had its debut in April and Carla says,
“We are planning to do it every other week when weather
permits.” Let’s hope the weather cooperates!
Here are a few photos from the very first Story Time that
are sure to pique your interest.
