N E W S M A Y 5 L E H A V R E Don’t lose out…join Le Club! Summer’s right around the corner and things are starting to buzz around the Clubhouse. Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 28, when things start to get in full swing. The tennis courts are already open and hours are daily, 9am until 5:45pm through May 27 and then till dusk as of May 28. Summer gym hours will be 6am-10pm Monday through Friday and 9am-8pm Saturday and Sunday. In addition to all kinds of weights, treadmills and other great workout equipment, the gym also offers aerobics classes, including sessions in senior fitness, yoga, Latin dance and more. Contact the Clubhouse for more information. Pool #2 will open May 28, and it will be even more relaxing than ever: All new lounge and dining chairs have arrived just in time for the season. All told, there are 200 new chairs including 140 new lounges in an attractive sky blue color with white framing. Unlike the previous chairs which had plastic straps, these are a sling style made of one solid piece of fade-resistant material, and they’re two inches higher off the ground. The material allows them to dry more quickly after a dip in the pool, and with four adjustable positions, also makes them more comfortable overall. The 60 new dining chairs are made of the same materials and match the lounges. The pool will be open daily, 10am-8pm, as it will for Pool #1 when it opens on June 25. Also beginning May 28, the Clubhouse will remain open until 8pm Monday through Sunday, and Logan’s Café will be up and running 7 days a week throughout the summer. Membership enrollment, which runs for one year, began on May 1. For your convenience memberships will also be taken on the following dates and times: Saturday, May 14, 1pm-6pm Sunday, May 15, 10am-3pm Monday, May 16, 5p-9pm Thursday, May 19, 5pm-9pm Friday, May 20, 5pm-9pm Please bring proof of residency (New York State photo I.D. and maintenance bill). Renewing members are reminded not to discard their swipe cards. The cards are reusable each year, and a replacement will cost $15. If your card is damaged and cannot be used it will be replaced free of charge. So stop by the Clubhouse and sign up today to begin enjoying one of Le Havre’s best amenities!
