When Lee receives news that his older brother Joe has passed away after suffering a heart attack, he is shocked to discover that he is named as the guardian of his nephew, Patrick (Lucas Hedges). As Lee and Patrick struggle to adjust to a now changed lifestyle, Lee must simultaneously confront his tormented past that separated him from both his wife, Randi, and the community in which he was raised (imdb.com). Outdoor garden dining in nice weather is superb, and the terrace has a lovely view of the duck pond. Chef Francesco Cecere is wonderful and offers many menus including brunch, a prix fi xe menu, daily specials, an international wine list and a special cocktail menu. There are many delicious dishes to choose from, and some of my favorites are the chicken or veal parmigiano, Chilean sea bass with clams and mussels, pasta with lobster cream sauce, and lobster salad. The service is especially amazing and the gentleman in charge, Billy Pappas, is very personable and caring about your experience. Vivaldi offers live entertainment on Thursday evenings 7pm to 11pm, often with the sounds of Frank Sinatra. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 5pm- 10pm and Sunday 11:30am-9pm. The restaurant is closed on Mondays. Private dining rooms are available for two to 250 guests (the catering offi ce is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10am until 9pm). Mr. Affleck and Mr. Hedges are exceptional, but the rest of the large cast is nearly as fine. (I’d single out Ms. Williams, Ms. Mol and C. J. Wilson, who plays Joe’s best pal and business partner.)
