Out &
About
BY JILL DAVIS
According to the National Retail Federation
(NRF), roughly 55% of the U.S. will celebrate
Valentine’s Day in some way and roughly 1/3 of
the total $20billiion spent for Valentine’s Day will
be on jewelry. On the other hand, over half will
spend their money on candy. Question: Who came
up with the idea of giving a gift that’s fattening
and causes acne?
Below are some fun quotes about that four-letter

westminsterkennelclub.org
It’s a dog’s life…which is a darned nice
one for these pampered pooches. Yes, they’re
groomed and fed like royalty, but the competition
is fierce as they strut their stuff in
front of tuxedoed judges at MSG. As always,
there’s a wide range of ticket prices, so
check out the website for info. But if you
want to chillax and save some bucks for dog
biscuits, the show will air live both nights
on Fox Sports 1 (Channel 400 for Spectrum
subscribers; Channel 583 for Verizon FiOS
folks). Arf!

Python fame--need I say more? The producers
promise that “flying cows, killer rabbits, taunting
Frenchmen and show-stopping musical numbers
are just a few of the reasons audiences worldwide
are eating up Spamalot!” Tickets range from $49
to $89 for either show.

early Beatles favorites too. The Associated Press
says that seeing RAIN is “the next best thing to
seeing the Beatles.” At ticket prices topping out
at over $90, they ought to be. Tickets are $43,
