SEPTEMBER 14
Photo of the Month
BY JILL DAVIS
Congratulations to September’s Photo of the Month
winner, Sal Gambelunghi! If my records are correct, this is
Sal’s first submission to the column. Thanks Sal, and I hope
you’re inspired to take some more pictures for the paper!
Joe Hollander took a little hiatus over the past couple of
months, but we’re glad he’s back with this beautiful early
morning photo. And Marsha Gellert kept busy in August
with pictures taken at dawn, at sunset, and at various time
throughout the day. Beautiful as always, and thank you
both!
To all Cryder residents, we will hopefully have many
sunny days coming up before Autumn starts sneaking up
on us. So keep your phone or camera charged and ready
to go.
A reminder about the contest rules:
The photographer must be a resident of Cryder Point,
and all photos must of the property or of a view from the
property. They also must be current, that is, taken no more
than a couple of months before you submit them.
Any description of where you were on the property, the
day of week or time of day…any details that you can provide
which bring your neighbors into the moment of the
photo…are eagerly welcomed.
Submit your pictures to jdavis@qns.com and yours
might be selected to be featured in the paper. Please be
sure to put “Cryder Point Photo” in the subject line of your
email and include the full name of the photographer and
an approximate date of the picture.
Boats dot the river on a recent summer
afternoon.
