This casual beer garden and eatery located at the
Bayside LIRR station features indoor and outdoor
bars and cafés. The restaurant is kid-friendly, and
it’s very popular for its bars, music, and delicious
food. On Saturday evenings, as well as some other
times, a live band is quite nice!
There is a great beer selection and a wide variety
of good food. There are several starters (chicken
wings are loved), salads, hand-helds such as burgers
(veggie, turkey and brisket, to name a few) and
steak house panini. We loved the sliders--both lobster
rolls and BBQ short ribs. The salads, bread,
drinks and side dishes were also very good!
Sunday brunch (12pm-4pm) is very popular, as
is Happy Hour at the bar from 4pm-7pm, which
features appetizers and select draft beers at halfprice.
The dining room is open from 12pm until
12am on Fridays and Saturdays and from 12pm
until 11pm all other days of the week.
OSP is located at 213-10 41st Avenue. Good
prices and the overall experience will bring you
back. Sometimes you have a waiting time--usually
in nice weather in the evening—but it’s worth
waiting!
