C R Y D E R P O I N T AUGUST 7 It happened to be Barbara Lowy’s birthday— talk about timing! www.qNS.com | August 2016 | CRYDER POINT Courier 7 Everybody enjoyed an evening swim! She said, “Bill and his team worked extremely hard in that 96 degree weather setting up for us. It was not an easy task as we kept making changes to table arrangements. They could not have been more cooperative. Bill was exceptionally helpful and remained patient with us which I am sure was not easy!” It may not have been easy, but as the photos here show (thank you Dorene!), the effort was well worth it. The entire party went off without a hitch and everyone had a blast. Eileen reported that it was “the most perfect evening in July this summer! It was wonderful to see everyone having a great time sharing picnics, laughing and dancing.” In fact the party was such a hit that people are already asking when there will be another one (spoiler alert: Summer 2017). These kinds of activities are great to see and add real spirit to the Cryder Point community. Thanks go to Eileen, Dorene and the entire QOL Committee for making it happen. Eileen put it well: “The gathering of community and their guests for summer fun--it doesn’t get much better than that!” Thanks to our lifeguards for all their help!
