Cryder Point Photo of the Month
BY JILL DAVIS
Congratulations to this month’s Photo of the Month
winner, Leo Gloumis, and thanks to Madelyn Dupre,
Marsha Gellert, Irene Gloumis, Joe Hollander and Barbara
Lowy for their fabulous photos.
Well, now we’re talkin’! The Cryder Point Courier rarely
receives this many submissions from so many different
people in one month—six different contributors! And
since there were some “leftover” photos from last month,
we needed to do a two-page spread—and I still had to
save a few pictures for future issues!

The weather has definitely improved (okay, so we’re
complaining about the heat--we knew that was coming!),
and it looks like folks are really getting inspired. I
hope these help you get in the spirit to keep your phone
or camera handy…you never know when you’ll catch a
special moment!
A reminder about the contest rules:
The photographer must be a resident of Cryder Point,
and all photos must of the property or of a view from
the property. They also must be current, that is, taken
no more than a couple of months before you submit
them. Any details that you can provide which bring
your neighbors into the moment of the photo are eagerly
welcomed.
Submit your pictures to jdavis@qns.com and yours
might be selected to be featured in the paper. Please be
sure to put “Cryder Point Photo” in the subject line of
your email and include the full name of the photographer
and an approximate date of the picture.
Leo shows us that a picture truly paints a thousand words!
