B-I-N-G-O!
We don’t know when the last time there was a
community Bingo game at Cryder Point, do
you? Regardless, it’s been so long we’re going
to call this one a premiere.
About 20 residents gathered in the 01 Community
Room on Sunday afternoon, Feb. 24, which happened to
be the day of the Academy Awards. Fittingly, the game
was billed as “Pre-Oscar Bingo” and the two-hour get-together
included miniature “Oscars” that were awarded to
the winners of each game. One lucky player channeled

In other awards news, CeCe Schob was recognized for
her performance as Best Bingo Caller, and Mona Blumenreich

and Dorene Finnegan were each awarded for
Outstanding Achievement by a Cryder Point Volunteer.
Everyone agreed it was a fun afternoon of Bingo calling,
prizes and laughs. As the “Bingo Hall” emptied, the
big question was, when can we do this again? The producers
are already in talks about a sequel, so be on the
lookout for “Bingo: Part 2,” coming soon to a Community
Room near you!
