MARCH 11
Photo of the Month
WWW.QNS.COM | MARCH 2019 | CRYDER POINT COURIER 11
BY JILL DAVIS
Sailboats in February! Congratulations to this month’s Photo of the Month winner, Marsha
Gellert, for a much-needed sneak peek at springtime to come. But before we get
ahead of ourselves, Marsha also contributed these beautiful photos to remind us of
winter—hopefully something we’ll be finished with soon!
Big thanks also to early-bird Joe Hollander, who’s practically becoming famous for his lovely
pre-drawn photographs.
With spring in mind, I encourage everyone to keep their cameras or phones handy to snap
a picture or two of whatever catches your eye. Come on, give it a shot!
A reminder about the contest rules:
The photographer must be a resident of Cryder Point, and all photos must of the property
or of a view from the property. They also must be current, that is, taken no more than a couple
of months before you submit them.
Any description of where you were on the property, the day of week or time of day…any
details that you can provide which bring your neighbors into the moment of the photo…are
eagerly welcomed.
Submit your pictures to jdavis@qns.com and yours might be selected to be featured in the
paper. Please be sure to put “Cryder Point Photo” in the subject line of your email and include
the full name of the photographer and an approximate date of the picture.
