Friday, Oct. 29. Perpetual Groove in
Concert: Perpetual Groove was founded
in Savannah, GA, in 1997 before relocating
in 2005 to Athens, Georgia, a
town long renowned for its thriving
music scene. PGroove comprises founding
and current members: Brock Butler
on guitar and lead vocals; Adam Perry
on bass guitar; and Matthew McDonald
on keyboards and vocals. Drummer
Albert Suttle joined the band in 2001
but has announced his departure culminating
with this year’s NYE show.
Replacing him on drums will be Darren
Stanley (Jimmy Herring, Col. Bruce
Hampton). 8 – 11:30 pm.

Hedgepig Ensemble Theatre
is thrilled to return to the stage
with this piece, right in the heart of
our Brooklyn community. Get ready to
laugh, scream, and howl at the moon!

a tradition of ghost stories in When
the Light Goes Out: Spirits, Souls, and
Spooky Tales, created by the Ensemble.

feature two screenings of “The Cabinet

Timothy Brumfield and Ralph Lee,
joined by the members of the Mettawee
River Theatre Company acting out

Burlesque, Flaming Cocktails (Served
in a Skull) & More: Amor Loco (134
W. 46th St.), the just-opened convivial
taqueria in Midtown, is hosting a Day
of the Dead party on Friday, October 29
(7-10pm) with burlesque performances
and a show hosted by Lucy Buttons
(from 8-8:45pm). They’ll also be debuting
La Catrina, a show stopping flaming
cocktail that’s served in a skull glass ––
it’s made with Hiatus Tequila Reposado,
flaming Grand Marnier, cinnamon
