‘BREAKFAST WITH SANTA’ EVENT
HELD BY BRONX YMCA
Last week, the Bronx YMCA and its board of managers hosted their annual ‘Breakfast with
Santa’ event. The Polar Express-themed event was attended by over 100 families who were
greeted by Santa and took pictures with him in his sleigh. The event, which was supported
by MetroPlus, also featured holiday performances by the Bronx YMCA Dance Program and a
check presentation from Ponce De Leon Bank.
Event co-sponsor Ponce De Leon Bank presented the Bronx YMCA with a generous donation.

FDNY HOST HOLIDAY PARTY
The Bronx Red Hat Roses held a holiday party on Tuesday, December 17 along with the
Bruckner Boulevard FDNY, who collected gifts for local children.

BX YMCA HOLDS ANNUAL HOLIDAY CELEBRATION
The Bronx YMCA held their annual holiday celebration at the Marriott Residence Inn on Waters
Place on Monday, December 16. The event thanked outgoing Bronx Y chairperson Geri
Sciortino for her hard work and dedication and welcomed incoming Bronx Y chairperson,
the honorable Judge Fiordaliza Rodriguez.

OLA PARENTING CENTER GIFT GIVING PROGRAM
Our Lady of Assumption Parenting Center held their Gift Giving Program event last week,
where they collected toys and other items for the children in the community.
