FIRE BREAKS OUT AT BURKE AVENUE HOME
On Monday, December 16, a fi re broke out inside 1837 Burke Avenue, located between
Ely and Bruner avenues, which resulted in the death of a 69-year old man. The fi re
started at around 11:15 on Monday morning, when fi refi ghters discovered the deceased
victim in a second fl oor bedroom. Two fi refi ghters also suffered non-life threatening
injuries and were taken to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. The

40th Precinct
Saturday, December 14 at 11:15 p.m. - It was
reported to police that six unidentified individuals had
assaulted a 15-year old male following a dispute inside
of the East 149th Street/Grand Concourse subway
station. During the attack, the victim was slashed
and stabbed with an unknown sharp object. He suffered
a laceration to his left elbow and a puncture
wound to his chest. He was treated and released from
NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. The six suspects are
described as dark-skinned males in their late teens
and early 20s.
41st Precinct
Wednesday, December 4 at 6:18 p.m. - An 89-
year old male was followed inside his residence at
899 Westchester Avenue by an unidentified female.
The female suspect followed the man into an elevator
and attempted to go into his rear pocket and remove
his wallet once the elevator reached his floor. A brief
struggle then ensued, before the victim subsequently
fell to the floor and the female fled the location in an
unknown direction without any property. The victim
sustained a minor hand injury and refused medical attention.
Sunday, December 8 - The NYPD has arrested
18-year old Hoe Avenu resident Dustin Dominicci and
charged him with murder, manslaughter and criminal
possession of a weapon in connection to an incident
were two individuals were assaulted with a knife
and each obtained multiple stab wounds to the torso
in front of 985 Simpson Street. The 19-year old was
pronounced deceased after being transported to NYC
Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. The 18-year old was listed
in stable condition.
42nd Precinct
Monday, November 11 - It was reported to the
NYPD that an unknown individual had removed $200
in cash, a credit card, a debit card and a NYS Benefit
identification card from a 25-year old female victim’s
parked and unoccupied vehicle in the vicinity of Boston
Road and the Cross Bronx Expressway. The ensuing
investigation revealed that two individuals had
used the victim’s credit card to make unauthorized
purchased totaling approximately $18 at 180 Express
Deli, located at 906 E. 180 Street, earlier thar same
day. The first individual is described as a dark-skinned
male and was last seen wearing a grey hooded
sweater, black pants and black and white sneakers.
The second individual is described as a dark-skinned
male and was last seen wearing a blue du-rag, a black
hooded jacket, grey pants and purple sneakers.
Friday, December 6 at 7:40 p.m. - A 26-year old
male entered Popeye’s located at 499 E. 163rd Street
and left his electric bike unattended and unsecured
leaning against a nearby wall. Four unidentified individuals
entered the location and proceeded to remove
the bike from the premises. The electric bike had an
estimated value of $2,000.
43rd Precinct
Friday, October 15 at 7:25 p.m. - A 13-year old
male exited an MTA Bx39 bus and was followed by
an unidentified male. The male caught up to the victim,
at which time he asked to borrow the victim’s cell
phone. The victim agrred to the request and the male
put a knife to the victim’s chest while demanding the
pass code. The victim complied and the male fled in
an unknown direction with the phone. There were no
injuries sustained as a result of this incident.
Monday, November 18 at 2:30 p.m. - A 12-year
old male was waiting at a bus stop, located in the vicinity
of Morrison and Westchester avenues, when
multiple individuals approached him while brandishing
a knife and demanded his property. The victim attempted
to walk away but the individuals surrounded
him and removed his cellphone and his AirPods.
The individuals then forced the victim to unlock his
phone’s facial recognition and charged his phone settings
before fleeing the location.
Wednesday, December 4 at 8 p.m. - A 38-
year old female way staying at a hotel in the vicinity
of Bruckner Boulevard and Havemeyer Avenue when
two individuals knocked on her room and forced their
way inside when she opened the door. A black firearm
was displayed and the victim was restrained
with duct tape. The individuals removed the victim’s
phone, watch and money before fleeing northbound
on Zerega Avenue in a light colored vehicle. The male
individuals are described as having a dark complexion,
medium build and in their mid-20s. They were last
seen wearing dark clothing.
Thursday, December 12 at 10:40 p.m. - Two
unidentified males climbed a fire escape to an apartment
building, located in the vicinity of Newbold Avenue
and Olmstead Avenue, before attempting to open
a locked apartment window with pry bars. The individuals
were unsuccessful and fled the location without
any property.
Sunday, December 15 - The NYPD is seeking
the public’s assistance in locating 16-year old Bronx
River Avenue resident Wilder Nunez-Ortiz, described
as a hispanic male, approximately 5’5” and 140
pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He was last
seen wearing a grey jacket, black jeans and carrying
a blue backpack.
44th Precinct
Friday, November 8 at 7:30 p.m. -
Saturday, November 9 at 5 p.m. - An unidentified
individual entered a residential building in the vicinity
of East 171st Street and College Avenue through
a ground floor bathroom window and removed $127
before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction. The individual
is described as having a light complexion with
a medium build and a goatee. He was last seen wearing
blue jeans with a white design on the back pockets,
a blue jacket, a grey skull cap and tan boots.
45th Precinct
Friday, November 8 at 11 a.m. - An unidentified
individual entered an unoccupied apartment unit
in the vicinity of Ampere Avenue and Robertson Place
through a secured front door. The individual, described
as a male in his 20s who was last seen wearing
all dark clothing, fled the location in an unknown
direction without property.
Friday, December 13 at 11:50 a.m. - Inside of
120 Dekruif Place, a 41-year old male was delivering
food on the seventh floor when he encountered three
unidentified males in the hallway. The male suspects
displayed a boxutter and proceeded to strike the victim
about the head and body. Several residents who
heard the commotion from inside their residences
went into the hallway and the male suspects fled the
scene in an unknown direction without any property.
The victim was removed to NYC Health + Hospitals/
Jacobi to be treated for head and back pain.
46th Precinct
Saturday, November 23 at 8:40 p.m. - Three unknown
male individuals knocked on the door of a 23-
year old female victim living in the vicinity of W. 180th
Street and University Avenue. When the female victim
opened the door, the three males pushed their way in
and began to ransack the apartment. The male then
removed two cell phones from the apartment and fled
on foot to parts unknown. The victim was uninjured
during the incident. The cell phones had an estimated
value of $850. All three suspects are described as
males, 20-30 years of age. They were all seen wearing
dark clothing.
Sunday, December 8 at 9:50 a.m. - A 43-year
old female entered 231 Echo Place followed by an
unidentified male individual. Once inside, the male
snatched the victim’s purse and fled southbound on
Grand Concourse. The purse contained $150, bank
cards and personal identification.
