Express Yourself Unisex Hair Salon enters 16 years
As Express Yourself Unisex
Hair and Nail Salon located at 3637
East Tremont, in the Throggs Neck
section of the Bronx, enters its 16th
year, owner and head hairdresser
Tara Peduto, is very proud to have
been running one of the highest
quality salons in the borough.
Tara is especially proud of the fact
that she is from the very neighborhood
that she serves everyday and
that she still resides here with her
husband Andrew and their two
children.
The East Tremont Avenue salon
was originally located on Scott
Place, which is just around the corner
from its present location. Tara
and her staff moved into their new
location in 2009 and in the process
they created a very stylish, modern
and comfortable salon experience.
Express Yourself boasts a staff
of which most have been working
with Tara for more than a decade.
Tara feels that this fact creates a
“family” atmosphere and she loves
that the clients see the same faces
all of the time. “Continuity is key
in any business, especially in a
hair salon,” says Tara, who added,
“Clients are very loyal to their
hairdressers.”
Express Yourself specializes in
modern cuts, wash and blow outs,
Keratin Treatments, coloring, updo’s,
Ombre and Balayage hair coloring,
manicures, and much, much
more. Express Yourself also sells
a wide array of hair and beauty
products in the salon. They also
offer prom and bridal party specials
and spa day packages for any
occasion.
To all of the guys out there, Express
Yourself is also a unisex salon
so you can stop in to get your
hair cut there as well. The salon
does kids cuts as…so parents can
stop on by anytime.
Express Yourself offers senior
citizen discounts, holiday hair specials
and gift certificates...they are
open 5 days a week and have very
flexible hours throughout the holiday
season.
As Tara always says of her establishment,
“If your hair is not
becoming to you…then you should
be coming to us.”
