TEAM AOC’S HARVEST & HALLOWEEN CELEBRATION
Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hosted ‘Team AOC’s Harvest & Halloween Celebration’
on Thursday, October 31 at Kismet Catering Hall, 1995 Westchester Avenue. Those in
attendance dressed up in their Halloween costumes and took part in the Halloween festivities.
The event, which included games, arts and crafts, candy and music, was also attended
by Senator Luis Sepulveda.

BETH ABRAHAM CENTER HOSTS HALLOWEEN PARTY
Beth Abraham Center on Allerton Avenue hosted a Halloween Party on Tuesday, October 29.
The event was attended by 250 people including students from P.S. 96, who dressed up in
their Halloween costumes and enjoyed a haunted house walk-through, clowns, a balloonist
and a magician as well as spooky music, facepainting, popcorn, pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers
and cotton candy. The event also featured games and prizes for the kids.

GJONAJ SUPPORTS TROOPS WITH IMPORTANT INITIATIVE
In recognition of Veterans Day, Councilman Mark Gjonaj recently showed his support for the
Support the Troops team as well as Aunt Cathy for all the work they have done. All proceeds
from the event are going towards an important initiative which will send packages to men
and women serving overseas.
