SENIORS ATTEND COLLEGE
ESSAY BOOT CAMP
Iona Preparatory School seniors are participating
in the Essay Boot Camp to complete
the college essay before the academic year
starts. Taking place over two consecutive
days, the Essay Boot Camp invites college
reps and admissions offi cials to work directly
with students, providing fi rst-hand insight
into the ‘do’s and don’ts’ of the college essay.
Approximately 100 students completed the
fi rst session in July with a second session approaching
in August.

GJONAJ FUNDS PRESTON CENTER OF COMPASSION
Councilman Mark Gjonaj joined the Preston Center of Compassion as they celebrated their service
to the Bronx and announced that he has allocated $20,000 for its Senior Programing.

GO PROGRAM LAUNCHES AT TRIBORO CENTER
Triboro Center’s GO Program has started and it’s gaining momentum very quickly. The GO
Program stands for ‘Good Outcomes’ and it is a concierge program for residents in short-term
rehab whereby these residents can preselect their rehab provider and residents can enjoy the
great amenities from Starbuck’s coffee, Netfl ix movies to the high tech rehab system of Jintronix
that’s used at Triboro Center.
