male who grabbed her purse that was around her
shoulder. The male struggled with the victim, pulling
her to the ground before fleeing towards West Farms
Road with the purse, which contained personal property.
The victim was transported to Montefiore Medical
Center, where she was treated for a broken elbow
and trauma about the body.
Monday, December 23 at 9:20 a.m. - A 54-year
old male was working inside of a deli located at 976
Prospect Avenue when he was confronted by an unidentified
male who threw a glass bottle, striking the
victim in the face. The suspect fled in an unknown direction.
The victim sustained multiple lacerations to
the face and was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/
Lincoln for medical treatment.
Tuesday, January 7 at 10:26 a.m. - A 52-year
old male was approached by three unidentified males
in front of 957 Aidus Street. The three suspsects attempted
to forcibly remove the victim’s cell phone, at
which point he fled into a nearby restaurant. Once
inside, the males held the victim by the neck and
punched him several times about the face. The males
removed the victim’s cell phone and fled westbound
on Aidus Street toward Southern Boulevard. The victim
refused medical attention at the scene.
42nd Precinct
Friday, December 27 at 4 p.m. - The NYPD is
seeking the public’s assistance in locating 14-year old
Mauricea Kinard, a Bryant Avenue resident. She is described
as being 5’3” and weighing 110 pounds with a
thin build, medium complexion, black hair and brown
eyes. She was last seen wearing a grey jacket, blue
jeans and black sneakers.
Tuesday, December 31 - 18-year old Abu Conteh
was arrested and charged with murder and gang
assault in connection to an homicide and robbery incident
that took place in front of 3273 Third Avenue on
Tuesday, December 24 at 1:25 a.m. The incident resulted
in the death of 60-year old Juan Fresnada.

Monday, December 23 at 12:40 p.m. - A 33-
year old female was walking with her eight-year old
son on the Elder Avenue subway station platform
when an unknown individual attempted to hit him.

40th Precinct
Monday, November 4 at 3:45 p.m. - An unknown
individual on a bicycle approached a 17-year
old female in front of the South Bronx Academy of
Applied Media Middle School, located at 778 Forest
Avenue. The individual then stated, “I’m here to pick
you up, baby.” The victim instructed the individual to
leave her alone, but as the victim was walking away,
the individual grabbed her buttocks before fleeing the
location in an unknown direction. There were no injuries
reported as a result of this incident. The suspect
is described as an adult male with a dark complexion,
approximately 5’10” and 200 pounds. He was
last seen wearing a multi-colored baseball cap, grey
jeans, black work boots and a hooded fur-trimmed
black jacket.
Tuesday, December 10 at 2 p.m. - A 32-year old
male was engaged in a verbal dispute with an unidentified
male in front of 345 E. 146th Street. The dispute
escalated into a physical altercation, at which time a
second unidentified male proceeded to strike the victim
multiple times in the head with a stick. The males
then fled the location in an unknown direction with
the victim’s cell phone, which fell to the ground during
the altercation. The victim was transported by EMS to
NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln to be treated for a laceration
to the head and bruises to the back.
Monday, December 30 at 5:20 p.m. - A 19-year
old male attempted to purchase an iPhone from two
individuals he met online. After the exchange for the
iPhone, both individuals displayed a knife, demanded
the phone back and fled with the victim’s $360 and
the cell phone. There were no injuries reported as a
result of this incident.
Tuesday, December 31 at 2:30 p.m. - Three unidentified
individuals approached a 15-year old male
in front of 395 Brook Avenue, when one of them displayed
a box cutter. The individuals then demanded
the victim’s wallet, which he surrendered. The three
males then fled on foot southbound on Brook Avenue.

Wednesday, December 4 at 6:30 p.m. - A 36-
year old female was crossing the street at the intersection
of Westchester Avenue and Southern Boulevard
when she was approached by an unidentified

The mom then stepped in between her son and the
individual when she was struck with a closed fit to the
right side of her face. The male fled out of the subway
station in an unknown direction. The victim refused
medical attention at the scene. The male suspect, between
35-45 years old, is described as having a dark
complexion, slim build with a close cut hair cut. He
was last seen dark blue jeans, a grey hoodie, a black
bubble jacket and white and black sneakers.
Monday, December 30 at 4:17 a.m. - Police
responded to a 911 call of an unconscious infant inside
of 1470 East Avenue (Apartment 6A). Upon arrival,
officers observed a four-month old female, unconscious
and unresponsive, with no obvious signs of
trauma observed. EMS responded to the location and
transported the aided child to NYC Health + Hospitals/
Jacobi, where she was pronounced deceased.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of
death and the investigation remains ongoing. The
four-month old deceased infant was later identified as
Serenity Wright.
44th Precinct
Tuesday, December 3 at 5 p.m. - A 14-year old
male was in the vicinity of 751 Walton Avenue when
he was approached from behind by two unidentified
teenage individuals. One of the individuals displayed a
knife and demanded the victim’s property. They proceeded
to remove his iPhone X and Airpods before
fleeing the location on foot. The victim did not sustain
any injuries as a result of this incident.
Thursday, December 26 at 7:54 p.m. - An unidentified
individual entered a Cricket Wireless located
at 904 Morris Avenue and proceeded to engage in
a verbal dispute with the owner of location. The dispute
escalated, at which point the individual removed
a stereo from inside the location before striking the
38-year old victim with a bat. EMS responded and
transported the victim to Health + Hospitals/Lincoln
for a facial injury. The suspect was last seen wearing
a black coat with white designs going down the arms
and black pants with with designs on the sides.
46th Precinct
Saturday, December 28 at 2:40 a.m. - A 53-
year old male was standing at an ATM inside Pan Deli
& Grocery, located at 1893 Andrews Avenue, when
he was engaged in conversation with an unidentified
male wearing a red jacket. The conversation escalated
into a dispute and continued outsiude the location,
at which time the victim was physically assaulted by
the male and another unidentified individual. A nearby
bystander intervened and the two males fled the location
in an unknown direction with the victim’s cell
phone, credit card, necklace and $110. The victim
was not seriously injured as a result of this incident
and refused medical attention at the scene.
Saturday, December 28 at 2 p.m. - a 29-year
old female was in the mezzanine area of the Fordham
Road subway station when she became invovled in a
verbal dispute with two unidentified females. One of
the females proceeded to grab the victim’s neck from
behind, while the other female proceeded to punch
her and grab for her purse. During the course of the
struggle, $20 fell from the victim’s bag and both females
fled in an unknown direction with the cash. The
victim was not seriously injured and refused medical
attention at the scene.
Tuesday, December 31 - 27-year old Mathew
Torres was arrested and charged with murder, manslaughter
and criminal possession of a weapon in
connection to an homicide incident that took place
near East Burnside and Morris avenues on Friday, December
27 at 11:37 p.m., which resulted in the death
of 24-year old Devon McFarlane.
Thursday, January 2 - Two individuals, 18-year
old Luis Morillo and 20-year old Miles Gibson, were
arrested and both charged with murder and criminal
possession of a loaded firearm in connection to an incident
that took place on Saturday, November 30 at
10:50 p.m. within the vicinity of 1534 University Avenue
which resulted in the death of 26-year old Oliver
Askia.
Friday, January 3 at 4 p.m. - An unidentified individual
approached a 30-year old female victim on
the southbound platform inside of the 174th/175th
Street ‘B’ and ‘D’ subway station and placed a knife
to her stomach, demanding her property. The victim
opened her purse and the suspect took her wallet before
walking out of the station in an unknown direction.
The victim’s wallet contained two credit card,
a debit card and $6 in cash. The suspect, between
40-45 years old, is described as a hispanic male and
approximately 5’7”. He was last seen wearing a dark
colored hooded sweater, a dark colored jacket, dark
colored pants and black and white sneakers.
47th Precinct
Wednesday, January 1 at 1 a.m. - Two unidentified
males gained entry to a laundry room at 730 E.
236th Street by breaking a basement door window.
Once inside the location, the suspects removed the
coin machine before fleeing the location in an unknown
direction.

Thursday, January 2 at 3:40 p.m. - The NYPD is
seeking the public’s assistance in locating 79-year old
Petra Rivera, a Beaumont Avenue resident. She is described
as being approximately 5’2” and 140 pounds
with a medium build, brown eyes and grey hair. She
was last seen leaving her residence wearing a grey
jacket, grey pants and leopard-skinned sneakers.
52nd Precinct
Thursday, November 7 at 11:11 a.m. - An unidentified
individual entered a Burlington Coat Factory,
located at 2543 Webster Avenue, where he attempted
to remove property from the store without
paying. A store enmployee confronted the individual
as he attempted to exit before the suspect scratched
a security guard’s face before fleeing the store without
clothing.
Saturday, November 23 at 1:50 p.m. - A 16-
year old victim was walking up the stairs to the mezzanine
inside the Bedford Park Boulevard ‘B’ and ‘D’
subway station, when an unidentified individual approached
her and touched her inner thigh. The suspect
then fled to parts unknown. He is described as
a hispanic male between 30-40 years old, approximately
5’5” and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing
a light blue jacket covering a green fleece and was
also wearing a bucket hat.
Friday, December 20 - An unidentified male followed
a victim into an elevator inside 2608 Creston
Avenue. The male then exposed his genitals and fondled
himself in the victim’s presence, before lunging
towards the victim. The victim fled the elevator and
the suspect, described as a male in his mid-50s, approximately
5’8” and 240 pounds, fled to parts unknown.

Wednesday, January 1 at 6:35 p.m. - A 31-year
old victim was waiting in the mezzanine area within
the Kingsbridge Road subway station when he was
approached by three unidentified individuals. One of
the individuals proceeded to remove the victim’s black
jacket, $400 and an iPhone XR. The victim refused
medical attention at the scene. All three suspects are
described as being between 18-20 years old with a
medium build. One of the suspects has blonde hair
highlights.
Friday, January 3 - The NYPD is asking for public’s
assistance in locating 20-year old male Alexis
Flores, who is wanted in connection to an incident
that occurred on Sunday, August 25 where a 46-year
old male was found with a gunshot wound to the back
at Rochambeau and Bainbridge avenues. The victim,
identified as Edgar Perez, was pronounced deceased
at Montefiore Medical Center. Police say that Flores,
approximately 5’8” with a thin build and dark hair,
has since possibly shaved his head and fled to Connecticut.
