40th Precinct
Friday, November 15 at 2 p.m. - A 16-year male
in front of 535 St. Anns Avenue was approached by
two unidentified males who removed his airpods. The
males then threatened to do bodily harm to the victim
if he resisted. The suspects then fled southbound on
St. Anns Avenue. There were no injuries reported as a
result of this incident.
Monday, November 25 at 1 p.m. - A 55-year
old female victim had placed her camera equipment
inside her car parked in front of 441 Southern Boulevard
and returned to work. Upon return to her car, she
discovered that the property had been removed. Subsequent
investigation revealed that two unidentified
males had broke a small side window of the victim’s
Subaru, removed approximately $14,000 worth of
camera equipment and fled in an unknown direction.
Wednesday, November 27 at 2:48 p.m. - The
NYPD received multiple emergency calls for multiple
people shot at the northeast corner of Courtlandt Avenue
and East 151st Street. Police responded to the
location and initially observed four gunshot victims
who were subsequently transported to NYC Health
+ Hospitals/Lincoln and are all listed in stable condition.
Police then discovered a fifth gunshot victim
opposite 626 Courtlandt Avenue, who was also
listed in stable condition at NYC Health + Hospitals/
Harlem. The adult male responsible for this shooting
incident is described as having a dark complexion and
was last scene wearing black sneakers, blue jeans,
a black jacket and a blue hooded sweatshirt running
eastbound on East 151st Street. Three unidentified individuals
are also wanted for questioning.
42nd Precinct
Tuesday, November 19 at 3:10 p.m. - A 16-year
old male was walking to a relative’s home when he
was approached by several males who asked him if
he was a member of a gang. The males proceeded to
punch and slash the victim with a sharp object, causing
him to sustain several lacerations and a head injury.
The males fled the location in an unknown direction
with the victim’s necklace. The victim was
transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln where
he was treated and released.
Friday, November 29 at 2:10 p.m. - A 25-year
old male was standing outside in front of 818 E. 166th
Street when an unidentified male with a firearm exited
a white BMW, ran towards the victim and fired
several rounds, striking the victim once in the chest.
The male reentered the vehicle and fled the scene in
an unknown direction. The victim was transported to
a nearby hospital in serious but stable condition.
Thursday, December 5 at 2:15 p.m. - A 67-year
old male was shot one time on the right side of his abdomen
by an unknown individual in front of 853 Melrose
Avenue, before the unidentified suspect fled the
scene in an unknown direction. The victim was transported
to Lincoln Hospital where he was treated for
his injuries. The suspect is described as a black male,
18 to 20 year old and was last seen wearing a black
jacket, black pants and white sneakers.
43rd Precinct
Monday, November 11 at 1 p.m. - A 54-year old
male victim was working at a fruit stand in front of
2170 Westchester Avenue when an unidentified male
wearing a face mask approached him and punched
him in the left side of the face. The male then proceeded
to kick the victim about the head and body
before removing $200 and fleeing the scene in an unknown
direction. The victim suffered pain and bruising
and walked into NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi
for treatment.
Tuesday, November 12 at 12:36 p.m. - Inside
a residence, two individuals knocked on the door of
a 49-year old male victim’s apartment unit, in the vicinity
of Taylor Avenue and Archer Street. When the
individuals discovered that the victim was not inside
his apartment unit, they exited the building. The male
suspect then helped the female suspect climb onto
the building’s fire escapes. The female climbed to the
victim’s floor and gained entry into his apartment by
forcing open one of the apartment’s windows. Once
inside, the female removed the victim’s prescription
medication and a debit card. She then walked out of
the apartment through the front door and with her
male companion nearby, before the two fled the scene
on foot westbound on Taylor Avenue.
Saturday, November 16 at 1:45 p.m. - A 78-
year old female victim was pushing a shopping cart
walking in the vicinity of 1994 Bruckner Boulevard
when a light-color Honda Odyssey minivan, operated
by an unidentified male, made a left turn and struck
the victim, knocking her to the ground. The unidentified
stopped, briefly opened the driver side door, then
resumed driving and exited the parking lot onto Turnbull
Avenue. He then fled southbound on Pugsley Avenue.
The victim was transported by EMS to Health +
Hospitals/Jacobi, where she was treated for pain and
bruising to her left leg and was released.
Tuesday, November 19 at 4:30 p.m. - A 30-year
old female entered a black SUV where she encountered
a male aquantance and a second unidentified
male. While inside the vehicle, the male known to the
victim proceeded to produce a firearm, remove the
victim’s cell phone and subsequently tied her hands
and feet with zipties. The unidentified male then drove
the vehicle to a Boost Mobile store in Yonkers, at which
time the victim was able to flee from the car and call
for help. The males fled the location in an unknown direction.
The victim sustained a laceraction to her knee
and hands but did not require medical attention.
Thursday, November 21 at 2 p.m. - The NYPD
is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 14-year
old E. Tremont Avenue resident Jewel Prensa. She
was last seen leaving her residence wearing all black
clothing. She is described as hispanic, 5’3” and 150
pounds.
Tuesday, November 26 at 6 a.m. - Two unidentified
individuals broke open two doors to gain entry
to the lobby of a residence in the vicinity of Beach and
Westchester avenues. Once inside, the males were
confronted by the resident, at which time they fled
the residence in an unknown direction. There was no
property removed from the location.
Thursday, November 29 at 7:40 p.m. - Jazmine
Knowles, a 28-year old NYPD traffic enforcement
agent, was arrested and charged with third degree
assault.
44th Precinct
Saturday, November 16 at 12:15 p.m. - A 43-
year old female was shopping inside Easy Pickins,
located at 210 E. 161st Street, when she placed her
bag on the floor to try on shoes. A short time later, the
victim went to retrieve the bag and it was no longer
there. Subsequent investigation revealed that an unidentified
female fled the store with the victim’s bag
containing multiple bank and credit cards. The card
were cancelled before they could be used.
Friday, November 22 at 3:20 a.m. - The NYPD
is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a
male suspect wanted for questioning in connection to
a grand larceny incident that occurred just outside of
1294 Grand Avenue, where a 43-year old male victim
had his cell phone snatched by the suspect, who
fled towards 167th Street and Morris Avenue after the
incident.
Sunday, November 24 at 1:30 a.m. - The NYPD
arrested 31-year old FDNY firefighter Eric Paniagua
and charged him with assault.
Monday, November 25 at 12:20 a.m. - Two unidentified
individuals gained entry into a locked laundry
room inside 950 Summit Avenue. Once inside,
the males used a drill to damage the lock on a laundry
machine and removed approximately $500. The
males fled the location in an unknown direction after
the incident.
Tuesday, November 26 at 5 a.m. - An individual
entered through an unlocked front door at a residence
within the vicinity of Morris Avenue and East 170th
Street. Once inside, the individual removed $10 and
approximately $800 in personal items. The individual
fled the scene to parts unknown after the incident.
There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
46th Precinct
Monday, November 18 at 6 p.m. - Two individuals
approached a 20-year old male victim in the vicinity
of Jerome Avenue and East 182nd Street, demanded
his property and threatened to shoot him if
he didn’t comply. The individuals removed the victim’s
headphones and cell phone before they fled the scene
in an unknown direction. The victim was not injured as
a result of this incident.
Friday, November 22 at 1 a.m. - A 21-year old
male was waiting on the northbound D train platform
at the Tremont Street station when another individual
began making anti-gay statements and attempted to
strike the victim with a hammer but missed. The suspect
continued to struggle with the victim and threw
him onto the train track. Good samaritans on the platform
alerted the motorman to stop the arriving train
and assisted the victim back onto the platform. The
victim was later transported to St. Barnabas Hospital
where he was treated for lacerations and contusions
to his head. The investigation, headed by the Hate
Crime’s Task Force, is ongoing.
47th Precinct
Thursday, November 21 at 8:10 p.m. - A 44-
year female victim was sitting in her parked car on
Baychester Avenue between Donizetti and Darrow
places when an unknown individual opened the passenger
side car door, entered the vehicle and began
touching her breasts and groin area. A struggle ensued,
the victim began yelling and the individual fled.
About seven minutes later, it was reported that a 48-
year old female victim was retreiving packages from
her parked car when the suspect, believed to be the
same individual, approached her from behind and
grabbed her groin area. The victim began yelling and
the individual fled to parts unknown. The male suspect
is described as having a dark complexion, medium
build and short dark hair with a full beard. He was
last seen wearing a green hooded jacket, black jeans
and black boots. No injuries were reported.
50th Precinct
Thursday, November 28 at 4 a.m. - Just outside
5523 Broadway, two males in their 20s were
involved in a verbal dispute with several unidentified
males. The dispute escalated into a physical altercation,
where one of the suspects shot one of the two
males and stabbed the other male before fleeing the
scene in a vehicle. The 25-year old male was shot in
the left arm and transported himself to NYC Health
+ Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was treated for a nonlife
threatening gunshot wound. The 22-year old male
sustained multiple lacerations to the torso and subsequently
transported himself to New York-Presbyterian/
Columbia Medical Center, where he was treated
and released.
