40th Precinct
Monday, November 4 at 2:20 p.m. - It was reported
to police that an individual snatched a 40-year-old
female victim’s cell phone from her hand inside of a
southbound #2 train at the Third Avenue/149th Street
subway station. The suspect ran off the train and fled
the station on foot westbound on East 149th Street.
The individual is described as a black male and was
last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black
sweatpants, black and white sneakers and sporting
a black backpack.
Wednesday, November 6 at 11:30 p.m. - A
22-year-old male was involved in a verbal dispute
with several unidentified individuals, opposite 396 E.
149th Street. The dispute escalated into a physical
confrontation, where the individuals proceeded to assault
the victim and remove his personal property. The
suspects fled with the victim’s $300, sneakers and
backpack. The victim sustained minor injuries and
walking into NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln.
41st Precinct
Tuesday, October 1 at 1:55 p.m. - It was reported
to police that two individuals approached a
23-year-old male victim from behind in the vicinity
of Longwood Avenue and Beck Street, where one of
them used a sharp object to cut the right side of the
victim’s face and the back of his neck. The victim was
transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in stable
condition. The first suspect described as a lightskinned
male and was last seen wearing a white and
grey sweatshirt, grey sweatpants and black sneakers.
The second suspect also has a light complexion and
was last seen wearing a yellow du-rag, a light colored
hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white sneakers.
Monday, October 14 - The NYPD is seeking the
public’s assistance in identifying an individual wanted
for questioning in connection to two incidents involving
hate crime vandalism. This first incident took place
on the morning of Tuesday, October 8 when the suspect
allegedly wrote anti-Semitic graffiti on the elevator
located at the Simpson Street subway station. The
following Monday, the same suspect was once again
captured on surveillance writing anti-Semitic graffiti
on the same elevator in the same subway station. The
male fled the scene in an unknown direction following
the incident.
42nd Precinct
Thursday, November 14 - 20-year-old Kennedy
Rivera was arrested and charged with third degree
grand larceny in connection to an incident that had
happened on the morning of Saturday, November 9,
when a 33-year-old female victim had returned to retrieve
her four dogs in front of 1439 Prospect Avenue
and discovered that they had been removed from the
driveway. Subsequent investigation determined that
just 20 minutes earlier, Kennedy was observed on
surveillance entering the alley where the dogs were
kept and allegedly placed them in a red SUV.
Thursday, November 14 - The police have announced
that 12-year-old Mia Muniz has been located
and is safe, after it was reported that the Washington
Avenue resident was missing the day before.
43rd Precinct
Wednesday, November 13 at 12:08 a.m. - It
was reported to police that two armed individuals
entered a music recording studio at 1206 Morris Avenue.
Once inside, the individuals robbed the various
occupants of personal property including cash and
electronics before fleeing the location in a vehicle. A
30-year-old victim inside the studio attempted to fol-

ISUZU BOX TRUCK STRIKES PEDESTRIAN
At around 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 16, a 56-year old man was fatally struck
by an Isuzu box truck. The victim was attempting to cross the street at Bronx River
and Westchester avenues when the truck, which was making a right turn onto Bronx
River Avenue, knocked the victim to the ground and struck him with the truck’s rear
tires. The driver remained at the scene. No arrests were made. Photo by Edwin Soto

of following them, one of the suspect fired his weapon
into the victim’s windshield, striking him in the left
shoulder. The victim was subsequently transported
by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in stable
condition.
44th Precinct
Thursday, November 14 at 12:59 a.m. - The
NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying
a male who was involved in an assault in front of 1051
Anderson Avenue, where the suspect approached a
20-year-old male and shot him several times before
fleeing the scene in an unknown direction. The victim
was struck in the buttocks, lower torso and was
transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in stable
condition.
45th Precinct
Tuesday, November 12 - The NYPD is seeking
the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Neurka
Morocho, a Doris Street resident who was last seen at
her residence. She is described as Hispanic, 5’2”, 130
pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
46th Precinct
Tuesday, November 12 at 9 a.m. - An unidentified
male approached a 23-year-old male victim in
front of 2496 Grand Concourse, displayed a silver and
black firearm and demanded his property. The victim
complied and handed the suspect his cell phone and
wallet. The suspect then fled on foot heading towards
the B/D subway station on Grand Concourse with the
property. The individual is described as a black male,
approximately 25-30-years-old, 6’0”, about 170
pounds and was last seen wearing a clear yellow poncho
with a grey hooded sweatshirt underneath.
49th Precinct
Wednesday, November 6 at 10:20 p.m. - The
NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying
an individual who was involved in an assault at
700 Adee Avenue. The individual entered the store
and approached a 30-year-old male employee, displayed
a firearm and demanded money. The employee
grabbed the gun and a struggle ensued, with the
victim sustaining a single gunshot wound to the torso.
A 37-year-old eyewitness entered the store, observed
the suspect with a gun and struck the individual multiple
times in the face before he was able to gain control
of the gun. The individual fled the location to parts unknown.
EMS responded to the scene and transported
the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in stable
condition. The unidentified suspect is described as a
25-year-old male with a dark complexion and dread
locks and was last seen wearing a grey hooded snorkel
jacket.
50th Precinct
Monday, November 11 at 1 p.m. - A 22-year-old
female was walking in front of 161 W. 231st Street
when an unidentified male on an E-Bike grabbed her
buttocks. The male fled in an unknown direction. The
victim was not injured as a result of this incident.
Thursday, November 14 - The NYPD is asking
for the public’s assistance in identifying a male
wanted for questioning in connection with two robberies.
The first incident occurred at 2:44 a.m. on Friday,
November 8 inside of a Citgo Gas Station at 6571
Broadway. The suspect, holding a pair of scissors, approached
a 55-year-old male employee, punched him
in the face multiple times and removed $400 from the
cash drawer. The second incident occurred about a
week later at the same location on the morning of November
14. The suspect, again in possession of scissors,
approached the same employee, punched him
in the face and removed $1,600. In both incidents, the
victim did not sustain any serious injuries.
