BANTAMS
SEMI-FINALS
Spot On met Barino’s Saturday,
November 16th to battle
for a spot in the championship.
They stood with a
record of 10 - 0, never taking a
loss, but they also never faced
this team. It was a battle. Spot
On took an early lead with
a goal by Madelyn Perrino.
The game went on and Barino’s
answered back with two
back to back goals, putting
them in the lead. With only a
minute left in the game, Ryan
Faulkner is awarded a penalty
shot, which he makes! Spot
On ties up the game and sends
them into over time. Overtime
was intense as the ball
went from one side of the fi eld
to the other, leaving the end of
the game in a tie. It all comes
down to a shoot out.Unfortunately
for Spot On, Barino’s
came up with the win with
one goal.Despite the loss, Spot
On had an amazing season
and a great fi nal game.Stand
outs were Nicholas Camino,
who at the goalie position
had multiple saves. Madelyn
Perrino, both offensively and
defensively. Other offensive
players, Ryan Faulkner and
Julianna Mosca. Mid-fi elders
Dominic Ventola, Nico Markic,
Nicolette Donovan, and
defensive players Layla Alcalde,
Aiden Camino, Gabriel
Deleon and of course Aaron
Piparo. Congrats team Spot
On, for a great season.

game from start to fi nish
with both clubs playing their
hearts out.Unfortunately, St.

the great season they
had. Watching them develop
and come together as a team
has been fun to watch for the
coaches and parents. Thank
