AWARENESS ADVOCATE
RECOGNIZED
Last month, breast cancer survivor and awareness advocate
Michael Singer was recognized by Assemblyman Michael
Benedetto. Benedetto presented a NYS Assembly resolution
to Singer, proclaiming the third week of October as ‘Male
Breast Cancer Awareness Week’ in New York State.

Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz joined the Riverdale Neighborhood House at their annual gala last week. The Riverdale
Neighborhood House provides a number of services for Northwest Bronx residents including early childhood education,
after school programs, a teen center, senior programs, a pool and more.
RIBBON-CUTTING CEREMONY HELD FOR 2823 EXECUTIVE SUITES
Councilman Rafael Salamanca joined the Third Avenue Business Improvement District for the ribbon-cutting ceremony of
the 2823 Executive Suites, located at 148th Street and Third Avenue. The 2823 Suites will offer modern space for growing
small businesses and create an entrepreneurial ecosystem for the Third Avenue stretch.

CHANCE’ PROGRAM
District Attorney Darcel Clark held her third
‘Another Chance’ program on Saturday, October
26 at Thessalonia Worship Center, 941
Reverend James A. Polite Avenue. The goal
of the ‘Another Chance’ program is to provide
an opportunity to resolve outstanding,
quality of life summonses, learn about the
application process for the state’s sealing
statute and obtain information on expunging
marijuana possession convictions.
