 HOSTS ANNUAL ARTS & CRAFTS FALL FAIR 
 The  City  Island  Chamber  of  Commerce  
 hosted  its  annual  City  Island  Fall  Arts  and  
 Crafts  Fair  on  Sunday,  September  15  along  
 City  Island  Avenue.  The  fair  featured  artwork  
 from  over  50  local  businesses  and  
 vendors  including  jewelry,  fi ne  art,  wood  
 crafts, stained glass, photography, candles,  
 soap, body care products, crochet and face  
 painting.

 MIND BUILDERS OPEN HOUSE STREET FESTIVAL 
 Mind Builders Creative Arts Center held its sixth annual Open House Street Festival on Saturday, 
   September  14  at  the  Mind  Builders’  location  of  3415  Olinville  Avenue.  The  festival  
 included dance performances, music lessons for kids as well as food, prizes, tours, exhibits  
 and other enjoyable festivities. Last year, Mind-Builders celebrated its 40th anniversary.
